This in a state with squat for athletes. Your evaluation is way off. Guy is a real good coach and Brad Banks couldn't get arrested after college.

Banks played a couple of seasons in the CFL , and Ferentz is the most over-rated coach in America... I think a lot of the talk about him and Michigan is that the prez at Michigan now is Mary Sue Coleman, who came from Iowa.
And that Cap One Bowl win came on a hail-mary pass with no time on the clock to a kid who was catching his FIRST pass EVER in college--and that was after the coaching staff horribly managed the clock during that last possession. I was at that game, and it was great that Iowa got the win the way they did, but it was a fluke and what would that record look like without that win?

Honestly, I'm a bit down about the LSU loss today. The SEC Championship in ATL next week is going to be lame. I might even back out. I will most likely be on Vols or UGA in that matchup. If LSU players feel half as bad about the loss today as I do, then they have almost no chance of pulling it together. Plus, the main problem with the defense(injuries) will not be resolved. Most will play, but again many will play injured including Dorsey, Beckwith, Taylor, and Favorite.
