I guess if you don't think SEC teams walk on water you don't know shit about anything:shrug:
I agree with that but some people in hear think that evry other conference might as well be high school football:shrug:

I'd wager that I'm one of the few people on this board who have tracked all of their own plays and are plus money in their gambling lives. I'm also probably one of the few who can afford to attend any sporting event they want to every year without ever accruing a cent of debt.
First of all, dlvlsu is my new favorite MJ's member. Who else reads the most hackeyed, uninsightful, hayseed analysis that sounds like it was gleaned right out of the ether of your local sports bar and then cites that as, "sports knowledge"? I also love your use of exclamation points. When you realize that women use them three times as often as men, it reveals a lot about some of the posters in this thread.
redsfann,
...edited b/c too nasty. Even for you, redsfann...
dawgball,
I think the voters would randomly jump some other team ahead of you guys if Pitt and OU won. It's kind of the same thing as Michigan getting screwed last season. The good part about that is that the Rose Bowl would get 1st pick of at-large teams in that scenario and then Georgia could play USC. You'd have to come out to LA for that one.
For everyone else, I still ask is there anyone who thinks I'd have a remote chance of hitting that 80-1 shot? I am still tempted but at this point I am leaning against it.
don't know if they walk on water or not but top to bottom the sec is the toughest conference in college football...
Not this year.
Every team healthy, I think the Pac 10 is the best league this year overall.
One year on the left coast and you mind does this?
You don't miss fullback dives just a little bit?
B,
...you know I respect your opinion, unlike some others around here that I just look to for amusement. Here's the only problem with that.... (Dixson immediately comes to mind) Injuries happen, there have been injuries in every conference this season.... If Vince Young would have gotten injured in the 5th game, I doubt Texas would have won... You could add here ad infinitum.... ("if and's and but's were candy and nuts...") Don't fall into Nicky D's logic or you can talk ND into the National Championship this season.(j/k)
Certainly I am pro-SEC, but you know I also have a relatively objective opinion and at the beginning of the season, I would have agreed with you wholeheartedly, but now I can't agree. The last few weeks I cannot see the PAC 10 being the strongest conference.
We really need a playoff to stop this banter every year.... :com:
I read this entire thread and was unable to find even a single mention of the superiority of any SEC team, much less the conference as a whole.
Obsessed, are we:shrug:
Every team healthy, I think the Pac 10 is the best league this year overall. And if you guys were around during the Scott4USC era, you know I have repeatedly waved the SEC flag in the past and have been HIGHLY critical of the Pac 10 (outside of USC). But this year, I feel it's the best league.
My opinion, based simply on watching as many games as I can, I feel the SEC is very down this season.
