What do you guys think? I don't think you can send Kansas with such a weak schedule They lost to the only ranked team they played. I don't think you can send Georgia when they couldn't even reach the SEC Championship. I don't think you can send Virginia Tech when LSU whip their butt. That leaves Ohio St vs LSU.

Well obviously there should be a playoff. But I think it should be USC vs Ohio St.

how does the #3 team in their conference go in over the conf champ, who lost both their games in 3ot?

I'm not disagreeing with you but the BCS has Ohio S #3 and Geo #4 that moves them both up to 1 and 2. Not saying I agree with the system but that's what they put in play.

those were last weeks standings

the human polls control 2/3 of the bcs number and i think it will be severly adjusted in the voting tonight and i wouldnt be surprised to see uga miss out at all

Unfortunatly the voters and the coaches poll don't get a say. When whoever voted the BCS crap in they didn't figure scenerios like this.

Playoff System!! Other divisions do it.

Its in the hands of the voters......do they actually sit down and really give the time and rank the teams based on their resume, how good they are and how good they're playing now.

Or, do they just blindly elevate teams because, well, these guys were 3 last week and these guys were 4 last week, so lets push them up.

If they vote their conscience, the top three ought to be, in any particular order, LSU, USC, Oklahoma.....those are the champs also in the top three leagues in the land.

In the end, Oklahoma is coming from too far behind on the rail to really leap up.....and USC has that Stanford loss on their resume which may haunt them.....UGA and KU have to be discounted as they did not win their leagues or even divisions.....Va Tech can not overcome the beatdown vs LSU back in September.

LSU, having that win over VaTech has the most impressive non conference win of all of them.....only losses in 3 OT.

Ohio State will get in because they werent challenged enough in a weak big 10.....will voters punish them for that.....does anyone see them staying at 3 in the polls, meaning some combo of teams pass them up....I'm not sure if I was a voter, I would have them in my top-2!

Honestly, lets then do this the old way, no BCS, traditional bowl pairings and lets just vote it out in January. That way, at least, more than two teams can still stake a claim.....but to select two teams out of this mess is just not going to make anyone happy or truly solve what we are trying to determine every fall---and that is which is the best team.

Polls do matter.....but not the AP.

Coaches poll....it sure will be interesting to see how conference bias plays out in their voting tomorrow.

Meanwhile did anyone see the other Stoops totally **** up and not take that FG.....dud, you need two scores....totally blowing my +7.5 cover also.....dumb ass.

Now back to the BCS Title game argument.

List the most impressive wins of the season......how long untill you get to an OSU win.....and how many by, say, LSU, OU, USC or any other contenders will there be until get to OSU's most impressive win.

Is that even a valid way to determine this? Maybe its one way to cut through the fat and legitimatley compare resumes.

I agree do it the old way but they are the ones that voted in the BCS It's a computer program now and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks.

SEC folks,

How would LSU getting passed up go over?

How would LSU getting passed up in favor of UGA go over?

I really thought they were going to pull out oif this system with Auburn getting passed up, but what happens here?

Polls--Harris and Coaches--do matter as they constitute a big part of the overall computer system.

Wow, will there be a lot to chew on in the next 24 hours!
