neat 4-0 last night takes overall to 20-15 and makes a nice little 7-1 streak last 8. lets see if i can turn it into a real run. one play early:

jax st +10: i'll bite on what appears to be a sucker line. this game is a legitimate local rivalry game that usually plays out closely - last year the sammies won both contests by 1 on last-second treys, so the gamecocks should have some revenge motivation. jax st plays a wide open game as opposed samford's methodical princeton style, but they're obviously familiar with the bulldogs' pace, and take care of the ball pretty well as evidenced by their ovc leading assists-to-turnover ratio. also jax st also got back starting g eric adams last game from an ankle injury while samford just lost starting g curtis west. this is supposed to be a rebuilding year for samford and i just don't compehend why they're expected to cover dd's against their biggest rival.

may be back later with one or two more.

Like the Gamecocks as well.:yup Samford is the home teams and they are playing in their NEW arena. I say that because I think the Bulldogs are still getting used to their NEW surroundings. I don't believe the home court advantage helps in this game. Good Luck!!!:D

headed out to play cards but late line move compelled me to add one more:

e ill +1: i know its' ugly, but when you lose at nw st and nc central, you should not lay road chalk in your conference opener.
