Is it me? I'm I getting burned out or is it the boring games that have been on lately?

Asking teams to play on 3 days rest is fukin stupid. Thats why you see no chemistry on offense and teams going thru the motions.

Way too many commercials. It's killing the flow of the game. How can you score a TD, have a series of commericals, kick the ball in the end zone for a touchback, & have another series of stupid commercials.

I've always preferred college. The talent level may not be as high, but at least the players play with passion.

I think its more watching Chicago..........and the Redskins are not far behind.............absolutely no creativity on offense and both teams offenses are like watching paint dry............

If you dont believe me try watching replays of Wash-Buff and Chic-NY from last week.............

The talent-level difference is why I prefer college. In the NFL, we've gotten to a point where every player is so good, and so fast -- even the backups -- that, with the notable exception of the quarterback position (which is more mental than physical), it comes to a stalemate. And it makes for less exciting games.

So. Cal
starting to?

try not betting on a game
then watching a game not involving your favorite team

it's terrible

a 3 hour excersise in watching a binch of guys gather in a circle, watching the clock run for 15 minutes of actual action.

Its horrible, I have watched maybe 10-12 games this year. There are 5 or 6 teams that play entertaining football. The rest of the league is overpaid garbage.

Ive been saying the same thing for a few seasons now. They have lengthy TV timeouts that ruin the flow of a game. They purposely stretch it out to fit more advertising which is good for them but it sucks if you are watching the game. Im bored with a game at the half and I can only speculate that the players are too. Ruins the whole continuity and flow of a game. Can you imagine betting the under and then having to watch it unfold in a slow dragged out fashion. Its awful. Didnt they used to keep playing during commercials?

maybe we need more expansion. Get about 50 teams in the league

:mj07:

and water down what is already a boring product? And you think the commercials are bad now...

Found myself looking in on a rugby game last week on Setanta Sports. A running clock and constant play made for a enjoyable 20 minutes for me. If they had a running clock in pro football.....

I must have evolved into a degenerate gambler...Once upon a time I enjoyed watching a game, now unless I have money riding on it, I won't enjoy it...:00x32
