Oakland +10
Line seems awful high for a Packers team suffering many key injuries. Oakland has had nothing to play for and have been playing well the last two weeks. They should feature a heavy dose of the run game and make enough plays to keep it close. The Packers have given up 80 points over their L3.
Philadelphia -3
The Giants were able to beat the Eagles back in Week 4 behind a ferocious pass rush that sacked Donovan McNabb 12 times. Winston Justice was overwhelmed by Umenyiora and has since entered the Mitch Williams witness protection program. Despite winning the game 16-3, the Giants were far from dominant. Besides the sacks, Philadelphia had 15 penalties for 132 yards. They got one score off a 17-yard fumble return. The Giants gained just 212 yards on 54 plays and were 3-11 on third down. The Eagles also played without Westbrook. The Giants are in a funk and at 8-4 do not need this game as bad as the Eagles do. I like Philly in a close one.
St. Louis +7.5
St. Louis +270
All signs point to the Bengals packing it in for the season. The Steelers gave the Bengals multiple chances to take the game from them on Sunday night but Cincinnati just refused. Palmer has been a shell of himself all season, the defense is as bad as it has ever been, ranking in the bottom quarter of most major categories. The Rams appear to be trying to save their coaches job. The only good news for the Bengals is that three of their four wins have come at home. The Bengals have shown to lay down at the end of the season before, losing three of their last four in each of the last two seasons.
That's it for now...may have another on Sunday.
