Just curious if they're throwing the game away by playing prevent. I'm guessing that's the case?

Ballgame. Congrats SD backers. Gotta love when teams have the game in the bag if they would just nut up and play ONE defensive series. But nope, go into prevent and just hand the other team the game. It would be nice to be on the other side of one of these for a change. :mj07:

as usual, the team that leads ALWAYS loses this type of game because of their OFFENSE

they were pounding away as sd on their last offensive possession eating 5 mins off the clock with 2:30 left on 3rd and 4 and passed the fking ball......hammer it again, possibly pick up the 1st, at least burn sd's last timeout????

nope, let vy throw a 20 yard fade pass
inc
punt
game over

I should just start drinking around noon on Sundays to avoid the consistent rushes to the fridge around 3 when my teams inevitably implode.

Go Steelers!

So. Cal
the offense of tenn lost the game for them

first and 10 on your 2 in ot and you go

run-middle for 0
run-middle for 3
pass-inc

you know if you go 3 and out there you have about a 80% chance of losing....why not show run and pass on 1st ....or spread them out and then run????

nope, go as conventional as you can in the nfl

guess what....they lost.

plus....i'm pretty sure the chargers went their final 30 snaps without a penalty.....pretty amazing.

I agree their O was terrible, but no matter how bad it was the defense only had to get one stop at the end of the game to win it. Period. SD had the ball at their own 25 with 2:00 to go and only 1 timeout. If you play even MEDIOCRE defense they are not going to be able to march 75 yards on you in that timeframe. Just won't happen. But if you play prevent and let them get down the field in 2 or 3 plays they sure as hell can score.

It's unreal how coaches STILL do not understand that prevent defense at the end of the game will lose you more games than you win.

I'm just REALLY getting sick of losing games at the end because of bullchit. I started counting the games that I either lost or pushed because of prevent D at the end of games about 6 or 7 weeks ago. Today's game makes it ELEVEN. Guess the joke's on me for betting on these moronic coaches.

Ok, rant over.

SD DIDN'T COMPLETE THAT PASS. IT WAS ALL GROUND.

THAT CALL SCREWED US TITAN BACKERS IN REGULATION.

:mj12: Zebras

EXACTLY right Senor:shrug:

Was at the game and we got screwed, how could they not see that ball on the ground!

Plus, it was fourth down, game over:com:

The most sickening part about it is the angles they gave us when you know they had the one from behind the quarterback. I bet they find that angle sometime today. Got to love Fisher tho going for those short third and ones with his strong quarterback and strong running game but he felt a need to pass for them with a quarterback who struggles passing.
Incomplete, incomplete, interception. Got to love those decision. I wonder if he was giggling under his breath and behind those shaded glasses he wears on even the most cloudiest of days.
