Sorry not looking to start a fight here. But all the Steelers talk. Its not that I dont like them but NE made them look like a 6-6 team not a 9-3 team.

just like I said last week.

Pittsburgh was the worst 9-3 team in NFL history. Ranked dead last in SOS and didnt have a single win against the top 16 in the league. Not to mention real quality losses to Arizona, Denver and the Jets and winning a real doozy v Miami.

I can't argue at all. The flea flicker took their heart away. I have to give props where props are due.

Agreed, Pitt is an average team at best. Brutal losses to Arizona and the Jets. Maybe they will keep their mouths shut next time.

Steelers beat Seattle week 5, top 16 team?
If you want stats we could argue all night about your "worst 9-3 team in NFL history".
Sorry but this isnt college, SOS and teams you won or lost to means nothing. Pittsburgh will win their division and hopefully get another shot at NE in January. A healthy Polomalu and Holmes makes this a much closer game IMO.

Meant top 10. in fact before today they hadnt even played a team in the top 10.

SOS and who you played may n bot mean anything in terms of making the playoffs, but it says alot about how good a team is, and Pittsburgh sucks.

And since I said exactly that last week and that they would get rolled and they did, I guess it does mean something...or at least I have scoreboard...

from a non handicapping standpoint this nfl season is the worst in many years.

theres zero chance the patriots aren't winning the superbowl.

there is no suspense.

pittsburgh isn't great, but who cares. all the fanboys here can argue how great dallas and gb and indy and all these other teams are.....maybe some even refresh their computer monitors all morning on tuesdays to see their beloved cowboys sitting 2nd in the power rankings.

who really gives a chit. no one is beating the pats in the playoffs. they may throw a game before the playoffs, but you can mortgage your house they aren't losing in the playoffs.

everyone else is playing for the place and show

I've got a ticket for Cleveland paying +600 that says they don't ;)

How many do they win from here on in?

Jax are the second best team they will face all year, and given road losses already @ 'Zona, Denver and the Jets...

They'll struggle @ Baltimore who will be up for one last hurrah, and I just hope Bulger or Frerrotte is right to go @ SL...

I'm with the "Pittsburgh sucks" crowd. :SIB

Cleveland ends with Buf, @ Cincy, and SF
Pittsburgh ends with Jax, @ St. Louis, and @ Balt.
Pit 9-4
Cle 8-5
Since Pit beat Cle twice, Browns will have to win-out and Pit lose 2 of last 3.

bdb, i think the colts could beat them and i think jax gives them trouble.

the steelers lost the game today by not running the ball and suffering from a terrible secondary....

ne is damn good, but i give the colts balanced attack and the jags heavy running a chance.

That is correct.

The Brownies win all 3...just hope Pits can lose 2.

Either way, a Cleveland win next week, coupled with a Steelers loss and I can guarenteethe odds will be closer to +100 than +500 ;)

Pitt had a great game plan in the first half but didn't make the adjustments for the second half & they got their asses handed to them.
Steelers are like a prize in a Cracker Jack Box... You never know what your gonna get.

HELL
I don't recall anyone ever saying the Steerlers were the team to beat this year. I had a little side bet with Blitz, but had NE straight and in a nice size teaser. Hell, they were picked to finish third in the own division. It is not their faulit for their schedule and Cincinnati/Baltimore stink this year. Without Polamalu this defense is average at best because he covers up for a lot of their mistakes, much like Saunders from Indy. As for their losses, losing to and at Arizona/Denver isn't that bad, but at NY is. SC said it best, it is a crap shoot with them weekly, look good one week and stink the next. Welcome to Pittsburgh. In the end, NE has made plenty of teams look sorry this year with the Steelers being one of them.

Couldn't agree more. It's not even funny how irrelevant this subject is. It's not even like there's that thing in the back of your mind that says, "well, they COULD get beat." No, it's not happening. You can say you exposed this and that, but you haven't exposed anything.

NE will win the super bowl, and quite frankly, there's not a damn thing anyone could do about it. Peyton's not, Bret Favre's not, Tony Romo isn't going to get the chance to(you'll see), and that's the bottom line. NE will win the superbowl by 2 TD's.
