I like DePaul personally @ +4 or better. DePaul ran into a KU game looking for revenge this past Saturday, but played well. Did I miss the announcement on Byers coming back for Vandy?

posted this info in another thread, but a little flavor on DePaul:

as an alum and season ticket holder, I know DePaul pretty well. Well, that is as well as anyone could know this team, as they have been surprisingly anemic imo. I think this line shows that vegas still understands this team has talent. No one expected DePaul to be world beaters this year, but the product they have put on the floor has been atrocious. Fans are already discussing a future coaching change only 5 games into his third year at the school. The fact of the matter is, this team is underachieving and it appears due to bad coaching and player unrest

I know you guys could care less about most of that though. However, that needs to be taken in consideration when wagering for or against them! And most likely against. This line surprises me considering how well Vandy shoots the 3 ball and how bad DePaul?s perimeter defense is. Here are some pure stats for you:

DePaul is 310 out of 341 teams when it comes to limiting opponents points per possession.
DePaul is 233 out of 341 teams when it comes to opponent's FG percentage.
DePaul is 312 out of 341 teams when it comes to opponent's 3pt FG percentage.
DePaul is 307 out of 341 teams when it comes to forced turnovers per game.

How many ways can you say no D?

I haven?t decided if I will make a play on Vandy, but at first glance it looks mighty tempting.

I wouldn't take too long to make my pick. Line is up to -4.5 now and I wouldn't be suprised if it jumped to -7 by gametime. People are gonna be jumping on Vandy all day long.

definitely. jumped from -3 to -4 already on matchbook and you're right, it will be up to like -6 by tip.

Vandy is getting smoked, and I have them. I am embarassed I took this play because of how easy it looks. Halftime of Vandy -5.5 looks good too but I see how thats worked out so far

Who says Vandy - the points on the road looked easy??? I loved Depaul getting points at home tonight. Betting home dogs in college hoops will make you a lot of money IMO.
