So Cal
Cin is 3-2 in their last 5, and might be a bargain at -8 or -8.5. The 2 qb's that have taken all of SF's snaps this year are definately out. Hill started last week, but managed only 1 score.
Behind Hill is Chris Weinke who signed a few hours ago.

So its Hill vs Heisman winner Carson Palmer. Cinn has been a big disappointment, but I'm guessing national tv (kind of) will bring out a solid effort.

"Only 1 score"...but 22/28 for 180 TD/INT...isn't exactly terrible.

In fact either of these guys (particularly Hill) will be far better than Dilfer who can't throw the ball more than 5 yards!

Gore gets 100+ an SF wn SU ;)

I completely agree. I would much rather see Dilfer in there if I was going against the 9ers. I think he's the worst QB in the league, in fact, I'm pretty sure he has the lowest QB rating in the league.

Thats pretty accurate.

I watched this game and SF didnt score until Dilfer went out. Mathematically, Hill cannot be worse.

Palmer has been very streaky this year and laying over a TD with that defense on the road seems excessive. Of course, this is a national televised Saturday game to boot.

Theres 3-4 good watchable games at 1:00 among the 9 slated and they give us SF/Cincy on Saturday. Of course there are also only 3 4:00 games which all have double digit spreads.
