Hoping for some input on a FF decision

I have Selvin Young going tonight against the Texans, or could hold out for Aaron Stecker Sunday against the Cards - decision seems easy on the outside, but Young could lose carries near the goal line to Henry, and the league rewards 1 point per reception, which most likely favors Stecker

The swing on my game this week is about 10 units, with the potential for much more provided I win next week as well

All thoughts appreciated

That's almost a flip of the coin decision, but I'd go with Selvin Young who has the makings of a special back. The KC/Den game last week was one of the games I watched and he really impressed me.

never ever ever rely on a Mike Shanahan running back in what is most likely the second round (semi-finals) of your fantasy football league.

Go with Stecker--the guaranteed starter, playing against a shitty team.

tough call

Travis Henry is not on the Broncos' Week 15 injury report. He figures to be active at Houston Thursday night, but Selvin Young is expected to start the game. Henry's upside is likely as a short-yardage back.

Selvin Young is not on the Broncos' Week 15 injury report.Young is slated to start against the Texans on Thursday night and is a borderline RB1 play. Houston's run defense is ranked 23rd in the league.

How is AZ run D?
that games looks to be a shot out
I think I would gamble with young and Henry taking his goal line carries

I would go Young
Stecker also has Pierre Thomas to worry about
NO just does not run the ball

May have overshot that estimate a bit -

Pot in our league up over 25 units - 1st place pays 60%, 2nd 30% and there is a consolation game for 10% - at this point I owe @ 4.5 units, so a win this week would guarantee a 3+ unit profit - also deals are made b/t the finalists from time to time

I would owe 1.2 units less than I do now but someone in the league paid a bit early as part of an elaborate barter system - hmmmm, 1.2 units:SIB

Thanks for the input - still have no idea what I'm going to do

arizona 11th against the run, but they have a few injuries. Stecker is probably the better option for more receptions, but I like Young to get more yards rushing. I know that doesn't help, but you gotta go with your gut. I have the decision between Young and Jacobs. My gut says Young. Good luck to you either way.

young tonight

young tonight

i have a similar dilemma. could start ryan grant against rams but i think young has a good game tonight. i don't worry about goal line carries so much with a runner like young. he can break long ones for td just like adrian. all i can tell you is that i'm also leaning to young tonight despite shana-factor. figure at worst, they platoon a little but i can only hope that selvin playing in front of 52 friends and family bodes well. good luck to you.

Again, appreciate the input

Decided to go with Young - guy I'm playing has a lot of good matchups and I feel that Selvin offers the better "upside"

So for all of you guys who own Stecker, put him in b/c he is now a lock for a monster week
