4-1 yesterday for +4.9 units. Just what was needed as the schedule of games are picking up heading into the holiday weekend.

Updated Record:

Season Overall 95-75 (+21.45 units)

Favs 33-28 (+2.85 units)
Dogs 27-23 (+6.1 units)
Overs 15-10 (+5.2 units)
Unders 20-14 (+7.3 units)

Here is what I have for today:

Old Dominion -5 LOSS ? 1 unit ? this would be bigger except that the Monarchs have not fared well in recent years at Richmond, typically shooting poorly. Also road fav?s scare me and I rarely play them large. Richmond so far this season has been out rebounded by some pretty average competition. That was what killed them in their lost last season to ODU and it should be no different in this match-up. Sylla, one of Richmond?s Forwards is out for the game and will only contribute to the lack of rebounding. Rest factor goes to Richmond, but ODU plays a heavy rotation, so playing just on Sunday won?t affect them too much.

Illinois-Chicago -7 WIN ? 2 units ? I have really been impressed w/ the Flames recent play. Their record isn?t great due to playing a fairly tough non-conf slate, but this team is pretty respectable. Got to see them last Saturday in person put a beating on my Blue Demons. Great rotation Collins has working with the major contributions coming from leader guard Mayo and big man VanderMeer. I think Toledo will be worn as they travel to Chicago, after going to Amherst over the weekend. Toledo doesn?t play many as their starting 5 account for 78% of their minutes played! I think UIC easily handles the boards and wears down a slumping Toledo squad.

C. Michigan -2.5 LOSS? 2 units ? CMU is starting to play closer to pre-season expectations. You have probably read in the other threads about WI-Milw.?s issues and players that are out. Even before these departures they haven?t played well. Their 2 wins against DI competition have been against winless Ball State and a below average S. Dakota St. club.

N. Mexico St. +9 LOSS? 1 unit ? Lobos get revenge w/ a victory tonight, I just don?t think it will be a double-digit victory. The Aggies dominated the boards in their previous meeting this year and will do so again. N. Mexico St. just needs to focus on reducing their turnover?s (over 20 a game!). They?ve had a week to prep, so I think they can do it. Last couple of matchups between these two squads at Albuquerque have been close contests w/ N. Mexico winning, but the Aggies covering. I think that trend continues.

Ohio -3.5 LOSS ? 2 units ? I like the Bobcats favored by a small amount on a neutral court. Throw that Kansas game out, Ohio is a good mid-major club that can easily beat St. John?s.

I would like to see what that S. Miss line is set at. Also may have some totals later.

GL guys.

There are a couple of other dogs that I'm watching in Baylor and Wichita State. If those lines grow a bit, I might place a bet on them.

tig3rs, thanks man. GL on your plays also. Almost pulled the trigger on Wofford, but I just don't know enough about that team. I think they have a good chance of covering such a large #, just based on the fact they don't play a really fast paced tempo and most of their games are in the 60's and low 70's.

Toledo tired in the 2H like I expected.

ODU shot horrible again at Richmond. Also they didn't fare well on the boards like I thought they would.

1-5-2 tonight = :mj122:

-5.7 units. some near misses w/ the 2 pushes and that Ohio side. Doesn't matter though as it adds up to a pitiful night.
