May the gamblin God's be with you this bowl
season but even more important, may the Irish
family HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON :00hour

How's the youngster Irish? Mine are 23 and 16.
But it seems like yesterday I was picking those
little chits off the floor and throwing them in the
air and listening to them giggle like only a toddler
can giggle. Those were the days :00hour

Kramer...
Thanks for the holiday wishes.
He is awesome, he is just always laughing. drinking bottles, $hiting and eating... kind like the old man.

It is by far my greatest win, what I thought would be a pain and take all my time has been a joy and I can't spend enough time with him. I also have a terrific little lady who knows my passion for football and is completely cool about everything. Even though she is saying Ohio St and WVU not only cover but win outright..hahaha

16 and 23 very nice man, I hope they have a great holiday!

Nevada/New Mex UNDER (57.5)

WOW ..... that is gonna leave a mark

Cincy, pick in the endzone with 2 mins to go, Nevada not even showing up and BYU mailing it in with 2 mins to play in the first half.

Lets spin the wheel
Boise (-10.5) over ECU
Yje broncos are the better overall team, they have the ability to pass and throw. RCU will be VERY pumped to be in this bowl but I just don't think they have the horses to keep pace with Boise. This is a travel game for the Broncos and they are not the greatest on the road but the travel will be less effective on Boise who played at hawaii once this season and are not coming from the east coast. The Pirates are led by Chris Johnson, who leads the nation in all-purpose yards (212.7) and is third in scoring (11 points). He has 1,200 rushing yards, 496 receiving yards and returned 30 kickoffs for 856 yards. The Johnson battle because even tough the Broncos are the WAC's top defensive team and explosive on offense, averaging 42.8 points. They have a balanced attack led by Johnson and Tharp, who has thrown for 3,070 yards and 28 touchdowns. What will this game come down to, the defense of Boise stopping the rushing attack of the Pirates. ECU has only 10 throwing TDs this season and Pikney is more of the running style of QB. Boise will have to stop them and they have an ALL a,erican safety that will have to play well to support the run. Then I think this will come down to the Boise offense making drive turn into points. They HAVE to get out early asnd just out play the pirates and let fatigue take over in the second half. ECU is rebuilding but I just don.t think Holtz has the horses and the Broncos have the fire power BUT they need to show up.

Took NFL action on:
Cleveland (-3)
Ravens (+10.5)
Philly (+3)
Skins (+6.5)

C.Fla (-3) over Miss St
The tough Bulldog defense will be up and ready for one of the best running backs in college football. Kevin Smith has a shot at breaking Barry Sanders single season rushing mark. Be it in 4 more games have the greatest running back I have seen. TB Kevin Smith led the nation with 2,448 yards, 188.31 yards per game, 13.85 points per game and 31.9 carries per game. He will be up against his toughest defense of all season. Both Smityh and Sitton have to have good games if the knights want to make some noise on offense. Miss St is hard nosed and their front seven is VERY good at getting to the ball and shutting down the run plus they are from a tougher conference and that expierence will be big in this game. Speaking of defense, defensive line that helps UCF lead C-USA and ranks 19th nationally with 2.92 sacks per game, including six in the C-USA title game. The have to be tough in the middle, with a true freshman at QB the buldogs will look to establish 240-pound Anthony Dixon and 215-pound Christian Ducre. Heavy dose of those two will help take the pressure off the freshman and it is how the buldogs have been winning games. The Bulldogs are ranked no higher than fifth in the SEC and 28th nationally in any defensive stat category (averaging 341.7 yards per game), but they know how to get physical against the run, force opponents into long-distance passing situations and make plays (they have three INT returns for touchdowns this season). They do lose thier best CB and that will hurt them in pass coverage especially if the knights decide to open it up trying to uncrowd the box. Some injuries for the bulldogs that might cause them problems are Titus Brown, a senior leader, knee injury that led to minor surgery in late November to remove loose cartilage fragments from his right knee. Also LB Gabe O'Neal might be a little banged up and thats gonna effect the dogs coverage and blitz packages. Those 2 should play but they are still not gonna be 100 percent. This will be a good game but it will not come down to Smith running the ball, it will come down to how we Isreal plays and what he can do to open it up for Smith. I expect Smith to be a factore but if his QB play is down then the dogs can unload on him and thats no good. Still the knightsz have a good enough defense to stop the run and they have the ability to make big plays on offense... too many plays for Miss st to contend with considering if UCF gets ahead the bulldogs have to abbandon the run and the freshman QB will have trouble being accurate.

I am just sick of losing these bowl games... time to get a few wins... Hope all have a good holiday.
Merry Christmas

Cheers

Sad to see you against my dawgs... State's pass D is 10th in the nation... which means we are gonna load up on the line and dare their terrible passing attack to throw on us... State has faced the #2 and #4 rusher this year and held them both to under 100 yds... Kevin Smith is good but who has he rushed against? This is a home game for State and its gonna be a cold one in Memphis

C.Mich (+8.5) over Purdue
Started off leaning purdue because the did beat up on the Chips earlier this season. The Boilermakers got out to a 38-0 lead before they shut everything down, so the 22 points C.Mich scored really did not mean anything. Why does Purdue even care to play in this game? They are not going to be too motivated for this game. Not only will they not be motivated, they are coming off 3 straight loses. Also the wins Purdue had this season came against the average teams they played. The boiler makers have a good offense, talented recievers and a strong armed QB. Still they lack defense and C.Mich has the ability to move the ball. This should be a bit of a track meet and the Chips have been playing decent football of late wining 4 of their last 5. The chips should be pretty motivated for this game but still I think purdue has too much ability. The Boilermakers should win but it is hard to beat a team twice in a season, they are unmotivated and the Chips will have no quit even if they get down a few scores. This game should have a good bit of offense and it comes down to what teams stops themselves and with out motivation I think the boilermakers might come out a little flat and uneffective.

ASU (+2.5) over texas
Which team honestly can say the care about winning the holidat bowl. I mean both coaches have won a combined 3 national championships and 340 sum odd total games. The only reason these teams are up for this game is because they see each other as tough opposition. ASU sees Texas as a legitamite team with a lot of clout in the ncaa, so playing them hard would be a statement game for the sometimes considered soft more pass/ finess pac10. Both teams faced their rival is the season final....asu beating arizona and texas losing to texas a&m. Looking at some of the games these teams have played you have big loses to good teams like oklahoma, oregon with dixon, usc but texas loses to k state and a&m are a little mind blowing. Also seeing they barely beat UCF, needing 19 in the 4th to beat nebraska, 24 in the 4th to beat okie st and 31 in the second half to beat texas tech. even though they were down the battle and never quit and thats a good trait to have but this is texas.... Not like ASU steamrolled this year either, beating ucla by 4, zona by 3 and wash st by 3. Looking deeper into those close games ASU is no way near as good in the 4th quarter as texas. BUT in order for this play to hit Carpenter cannot wait till the 4th to get into it with Colt and texas. How this is more that likely going to pan out is a lot of work from Charles to give McCoy some time. I know Brown has hammered his recievers for not playing well all season and expects them to play a lot better for the texas gun slinger. I do like that texas is predominately a slow starter on offense and ASU can normally find some rythem before half. The ability for asu to move the ball should result in points.Erickson should be getting on his team to score and not let up to allow texas the chance for 4th quarter heroics. Now 2 things I know....asu will have to get the ball out quick or carpenter will go down...screens and asu's defense needs to continue to overachive. Not normally a solid unit for asu has given up 24 tds on defense this year and held rusher too 100 yards per game. Texas averages 199.8 rushing yards per game....amd give up only 99. Thats ok because if ASU wants to win this game it is riding on thier qbs arm. The need help by herron running the ball but the strength of asu is the passing game and that is the weakness of texas. Not that asu can run the ball averaging 147 per game but they will find more open room on screens and down field. Texas will be aggressive tring to get to rudy so a screen will work well. ASU must start early and often, Erickson knows the importance of a game like this with regard to recruiting and booster dollars. The will be a very good game but because Texas has been a team that can be scored on I think asu turns it up on offense. The biggest key is if asu gets ahead they cannot allow texas to stay in to, this longhorn team expects to win in the 4th quarter...which might be another play late in the game depending on the chalk. ASU and texas will show up to play, but I will go with the team that has been more consistant in the first 3 quarters.

BIG PLAY
BC(-3.5) over mich st
All I have heard is how bc would want to be in a different bowl, a better bowl but this is what and who they get. Texas showed losing you last game is a motivator. Ryan is considered the best nfl prospect of this class, he can show it tonight. Looking for the big play and checking down should make it easy for Ryan to pick apart an ok defense. All American safety Silva needs to play up to stuff Ringer. The spartans can throw but they will look to run the ball, BC has to stop it. On the other side mich st will try to make Ryan hand off. BUT Ryan has seen far better defenses FSU, VT twice, GT and clemson. Ryan should not be fustrated by mich state and BC is the better team. The eagles have not been playing great football of late but the extra rest time, prep time and praactice time should get them back on track. Not trying to over think this just sticking with the better team...only match up concern is mich giant te in the middle off play action so Silva need to play huge. 17 fifth year seniors should get the look past mentality out of the lockerroom. Mich also dealing with some key players that did not make the grades to play in this game. BC has the top rated run defense and Ringer and calcrick will have thier hands full trying to find openings. It is as dangerous through the air because bc has 21 picks (5th in ncaa). The is a good BC fefense that should try to get pressure and stop the running plans of mich st. If BC needs to run to set up the pass Calander is 64 yards from 1000 so they have a pretty balanced attack.

Org st (-5) over maryland
a turtle or a beaver ..... both teams have solid running games with bernard and latitimer. Org st has the 2 ranked rush defense in the ncaa and it will be tested but they should be play run all night with sophmore qb turner under center. But honestly what can you expect to see tonight considering oregon scored a ton and they had no dixon. The key for org st is to get te and tackles on henderson to free up bernard. Org st has a pretty good line and the qb play is hot and cold but they have the speed outside to hit a long one if the safeties are in the box. I do think the time off will help the beaver more than the terps because key players will be back in action. The beaver defense has the cb play to stay man on man and that will allow them to focus on lattimore and ball....the beavers need to stop the terps running game. I think the beaver offense favors the run but caan pitch and catch. So the terps will have to play a little more balenced. Should be a good showcase of runningback talent but the speed of osu should help contain. Bay is the deep threat but not sure turnr has the ability to make the read or throw with tight coverage. beaver defense, running game and deep recieving speed.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up 10 and Ryan fumbles twice in the last 6 mins..... good stuff!

Tomorrow
FADE these plays... No write ups cause I am so pissed at that BC loss.. 5 turnovers and you win by 3... F'ing great. The only player they needed to game plan for was Ringer... What the hell.

Wake (-2) over UConn
Think the decons have more speed.

A&M (+5) over Penn St
Think the aggies have the defense, speed at RB other than Lane.

I really hope the Beavers and Cougars pull it out... Just flat out COLD and not getting one break.

No offense taken... trust me in my time here I have read far worse. I am just pissed that I actually saw that game correctly but Ryan in the 4th ended up screwing me. I don't mind losing if I am off but when I am on and the team does something dumb then I lose it a bit. GL the rest of the way and I hope you stay hot.

Hawaii (-7.5) over Georgia
The dogs want to be in the national championship. The warriors are very happy to be in this game. Spread offense should be tough for the dogs to defend. I expect a lot of scoring but a few years ago WVU caught Georia sleeping and I think the warriors can do the same. Brennan taking advantage of a team that might not change its defense just because they are seeing 4 and 5 WR sets. Plus the time off has given the banged up warriors a much needed chance to heal.

For as bad as Org st is playing for it to be this close is a joke.

Doubling Down
HUGE Play
time to get even or go bust
Org St (-3) over Maryland 2nd half
With how bad the beavers played to be tied is impressive. They have the mojo going into half and they get the ball to start. Canfield id the better option at QB Bernard is fired up and the defense has to do two things
1. USE LB'S to commit to the run
2. Roll over safety help on Bey

Thats gonna be the difference. The beaver offense should do what they have to in order to win.

Tex A&M (+5) over Penn St
Re-hit

The aggies have a two year losing streak in bowls and The Nittany Lions are 44th in the nation in scoring offense (30.8 points a game), 33rd in rushing offense (187.4 yards a game), 69th in passing offense (211.6 yards a game) and 53rd in total offense (399.0 yards a game).:scared The Aggies allowed an average of 474 yards of offense in five of its last six games and gave up an average of 30 points per game. Texas A&M is averaging 187.2 rushing yards a game -- 12th in the nation and led by QB Stephen McGee, who has ran for 858 yards and five touchdowns. The Nittany Lions are eighth in the nation in scoring defense (17.6 points a game), seventh in rushing defense (87.9 yards a game), 53rd in passing defense (218.7 yards a game) and ninth in total defense (306.6 yards a game). The match up is the LB's of PSU against the option of A&M. Can the PSU LB's fight off intial blocks to make the plays they have to inorder to stop the aggies ground attack. If the LB's for PSU are committed to stoping the option then McGee can beat them passing. The Aggies averaged 215.6 yards per game on the ground but have found life in the air attack through the second half of the season. Mike Sherman was named the coach so the kids are not playing without a clue and many of these guys will play hard as they did against texas out of respect. Interm coach Darnell is no stranger to the head set, as the former coach of Western Michigan. He turned around that program and will not be shocked by anything PSU throws at him. Having the defensive Co as head coach might be good considering....This season, Penn State is 7-0 when it runs for 190 yards or more, and 1-4 when it runs for fewer. Jorvorskie Lane and Mike Goodson need to play well and the A&M offense needs not only to rely on the backs but also let McGee run and throw to keep the lion defense at home. The A&M O line has been strong all season long in pass protection, but it hasn't faced a defensive front that gets into the backfield like Penn State. McGee scrambling might be a huge difference with the aggressive defense PSU plans to throw at him.

UCF/M.St UNDER (21) second Half
The only reason Miss has 3 is the pick and considering the UCF has two already I would think both teams continue to establish the run.

Agree. Got under 21.5 and have UCF in the game.. Like them again (UCF)., but gonna leave it alone. Did you see how they are beginning to crush the offensive line of MISS ST. They are just getting to the QB instantly! Look for some more fumbles out of Miss St backfield...
