Tonight - shrimp fried rice w/ diced carrots, celery, onions + water chestnuts.
Christmas Day - gobble, gobble.

Christmas Eve...Spag and Balls
Christmas Day....NY Strip steak, Broc cassarole, cheese potatoes, strawberry salad.

Dinner is about 6pm so I'll have to offer a few drinks to tide you over!

x-mas eve the wife is making dinner for 8 people & will be serving....

xmas eve, portuguese aunt's house, (veal cutlet, seafood galore)
xmas day, off to italian aunt's house (lasagna, canneloni and ravioli). Pasta delight, major wine as well.
Will be gaining 2-3 pounds for sure

First we'll share the oplatek (sp) and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
Homemade pea soup....then
Homemade mushroom soup
Then we'll have flounder filets and various
Homemade pierogies
Afterward....all my wifes relatives come to share gifts.. coffee and homemade Christmas cookies
Midnight Mass
Christmas Day...my brothers come for Filet roast, roasted potatoes, yorkshire pudding, string beans, salads, home baked breads etc.

Christmas Eve I take the family out to a lousy Chinese Buffet. It is really terrible. I made the mistake of doing it about 15 years ago and now it is a tradition they don't want to give now that they are adults. It has been a hard year for all of us here and hopefully the rotten Chinese buffet will bring us a few laughs.
