"the bunker"
i was picturing in my mind`s eye bill clinton watching this and saying to shrillary: "look, that bastard chris wallace is still smirking at me."....lol

shockingly,"change"(with a strong runner-up to the pronoun "I" )was the watchword of the evening again tonight....last night, after the 42nd mention of "change" at the dems` debate,i took the hint and "changed" the channel...

soooo, just another debate...after the first one or two, you`ve pretty much heard all there is to here...

here are this neocon`s options:...

"puffy cheeks" mccain..he`s a "maverick",you know......and he`s a rino...i don`t trust him...he`s not a conservative....how he can stand there and say he`s for tax cuts is beyond the pale...doesn`t understand the 1st amendment(as in mccain-feingold)...amnesty lover.......i think he`d club his mother in the head to get an op-ed in the nyt`s...and he`s djv`s age...

"i`ll fix the borders"...yeah,right...the problem with puffy`s "back of the line" is that there are two lines. .....one outside of the u.s. where people are waiting, and one here in the u.s.. where those "waiting" can live here, have children for free that are citizens that then qualify the whole family for all kinds of welfare and a free public education. .......i have no doubt that those doing the right thing waiting in line outside of the country would like to trade lines.....

and he actually said he knows where osama is?...and he`s gonna get him...he really said that...wtf?..is he in new hampshire?....

maybe he meant "obama"?....

NOOO!...NO MCCAIN!...i don`t give a damn if we agree on foreign policy.he`s delusional...

...................

rudy: rudy who?...... wtf happened to this guy?...gotta say, anybody that has this many mistresses seems pretty normal from here...

rudy hath thome thtrange pothithions on amnethty(and a lisp) ....but,strong on the w.o.t.....and his 9/11 resume`sounds impressive...again ..and again...AND AGAIN!...:mj16:

he`s liberal in some areas, but given the choices,a "yes" to rudy...

.......................

fred thompson: kinda like him...he`s a straight shooter...but,his style is a little slooooooow....like he`s talking in his sleep..i`m a little afraid he might fall asleep at his desk in the oval office....or at some importamnt summit....cuttin` him some slack because he`s following the campaign schedule from 1968,so,he`s just gettin` warmed up....

with the young wife,i suspect he`ll eventually have to be rushed to the emergency room with one of those "more than 4 hour" erections.....

i kinda` like fred,though..when he`s alert...solid conservative...long,long shot...""are we encouraging the next generation with talk of amnesty?"...spot on,freddy..
............................

huckleberry: the south`s 3rd gift to the u.s.(carter/clinton and ughabee)... did huckabee put a crucifix on the table when he sat down?...you know, like a gambler in the wild west would put his gun on the table?......lol

tax increase=sematics?....he`s the republican jimmy carter....and he can`t beat any of the dem nominees...therefore,after ron paul,he`s the choice of libs and anarchists....

not to mention clemency for 700+ guys and pardoning 12 murderers....

and why has gomer been to israel 9 times?....... what are there, 4 joos in arkansas?

a resounding NO!
........................................................

count mitt of transylvania (put a black cape on him...see what i mean?)

yeah,he`s plastic...but he looks pretty good for being 165 years old(he came west with brigham young,i believe)...

he`s the leader of the "just for men" hair dye round-up(romney, richardson,edwards,huckleberry)...

but,he graduated valedictorian of his class, then magna cum laude from harvard with a double mba/ jd degree. .....successful businessman...a success with the olympics...

yeah,he`s wooden and sometimes those people who are several levels in i.q. above the norm are hard to relate to, but it doesn't mean they aren't brilliant at what they do.....

and whipping teddy`s massachusetts into submission, and leaving with a surplus, is no small feat.....not for the faint of heart......

yes.....i`ll do with "the count"...
.......

so,as of right now,it`s mitt,rudy or fred....or nothing...

btw...i actually missed ron paul and his minions...

and i read that after last night`s debate, hillary went from 4 points ahead of obama to around 10 POINTS DOWN!.....can you say flopsweat?...

but,i`m not sure(as a consevative) that obama`s not worse than hillary....

tough call...

Not surprising considering your blatant bury-my-head-in-the-sand approach to Dr. Paul.

I am still waiting for you to respond to my request for your views on Paul's platform as requested in this thread:

http://www.madjacksports.com/forum/showthread.php?t=310834

Nonetheless, I will be patient in the hope that you will actually engage me in this debate. Your early leaning to Romney speaks volumes in regard to your capitulation.

I still laugh every time I hear Romney say he would ask his lawyer if he can go to war or not. I watch it every once in awhile on youtube. After that statement alone you are a complete Moron to consider Romney.

Just caught part on tape prior to coming work--
Wallace grilling Rudy on corruption and Romney on flip floping--if rest of questions to others were this pointed I understand why the Dems refuse to come on Fox :)

Couldn't find the clip.......

I can't get past Romney dropping the analogy when referring to Hillary's "experience."

Paraphrasing......"I saw the Patriots win the World Series on TV, but I wasn't there. Doeas that mean I 'experienced' it?"........he's living in that state, right? I mean wtf else is going on up in NE except parties celebrating the end of the Big Dig, RedSox Nation, the Pats and the Celtics? He's cooked if he loses by 8+% tomorrow anyway. Can't win on the road, can't win at home either.

Worse than Jules supporting the RedSox in the WS this year!

Mc Cain's remark I know were Bin baby is. I know how to get him? What the fu?? are you waiting for. I cant believe that softy Wallas let that one go by. DTB you didn't miss much there were only one maybe two tough questions asked. Rest of night they just talked at each other. And excuse Fox used not to invite R Paul. Well they could have left Fred and Huck home to. In fact Paul is tied with Rudy to. So Fox just can't get there chit right why should Dem's trust them.

very funny post gw....

since i'm pretty liberal on social issues & want a relatively aggressive foreign policy, i'm still in the rudy camp because it seems to match his stance on those issues.however, i do want to hear more about his immigration stance..

to me thompson is a big disappointment...& he is good to listen to right before going to bed.

Figured I'd cut and paste my thoughts from the other thread, since they are up this alley:

My off the cuff thinking after watching the Republican debates this weekend, and seeing the organized right wing efforts early and now against Hillary (Drudge, Fox/Hannity, etc.), I have to say I am less assured a democrat will win the Presidency. I do think it will happen, still, but feel less sure of it.

To be honest, after watching the republican debate last night, I thought more of who they have running than I did at first. I needed to watch them and listen to them, and I thought all of them seemed somewhat viable except Thompson. I don't think Giuliani will get the nod at this point, and I really thought he would. He just seems like too dark a character to me now, most of the spotlight on him deals with negativity and issues conservatives don't care for. I don't think people want to think about what he might have been up to, the Kerik stuff, the organized crime stuff, girlfriends when married, etc., and he just seems like he could look you in the eye and lie.

The three remaining candidates (in my mind) all are coming across pretty strongly. I have always liked McCain, and still do. He does look and act old, though, and seems to get flustered when pressed on issues. I think he is the most qualified candidate of any of them on either side, and I think he would do a good job as President. Romney is a great speaker, he sounds self-assured, and would probably be a tough competitor. I don't think much of his politics, and would not vote for him against any of the dems, however. I would consider McCain. As for Huckabee, I think he is a player at this point. He seems very genuine, and should garner some ongoing support from the far right, conservatives in general, and possibly some midwestern moderates. He kind of seems above the fray, and seems very serious about what he feels strongly about. I think people probably feel he is out of the mainstream political process as much as anyone, which should also help.

His ultra-conservative social views would keep me from voting for him, but he is a comfortable guy.

Just some rambling thoughts from a left-leaner on the righties.

Wayne, I agree with you on Chris Wallace and his torturous grilling of the candidates at times. I have to give credit where it is due, I thought he did a terrific job. He seemed to drive right to the heart of whatever negative points there were about each - which I think really hurt Giuliani, at least.

Very funny post GW. Why wasn't Paul invited to the Fox Debate? He seems to be the only one out there, on either side, making sense.

Speaking specifically about Kerik's ties to organized crime, business relations, etc. Rudy being so supportive of Kerik and how Kerik got the jobs he got, and how dedicated he is supposed to be to his people. Not saying Giulini directly had ties to organized crime. Actually he was pretty aggressive against those folks in New York, from what I know.

We know that Rudy's number one guy was a crook but what I don't understand, and maybe I am missing something, but other than 9-11 taking place in his city, what qualifies him as an expert on terrorism? He keeps calling himself and expert but no one calls him on it.
