I see a bunch of blind ass cowboys fans thinking TO will be 100% for this game. I hate to break the news to you but a high ankle sprain is a 5-6 week injury. Its been 3 weeks for TO. Anthony Henry (dallas CB) suffered a high ankle sprain 9/30 vs Rams in 1st qtr, he didnt return until 11/04 vs Eagles. TO will be 70% max and when suffering from a high ankle sprain, your ability to pivit and cut is severly diminished. add that with the fact that Romo is not getting prepared for the GIants (he was spotted in Mexico along with some teammates and Jessica SImpson) Last 3 games of the season Dallas played like crap (just like Tampa) Dont let people fool you (Dallas played starters until mid 3rd qtr in Washington game) and were down 20-6 when starters were pulled.

Take the gift NYG is 8-1 on the road for a reason

GIants +9() Gints 27-23 F

Packers -9 over Seattle 31-21
Jaguars +13.5 27-23 Patriots
Colts -9 38-17 Colts

Owens still limping, expected to be game-time decision for Cowboys

Associated Press

IRVING, Texas -- Terrell Owens was still limping Monday on his sprained left ankle and his status for the Dallas Cowboys' playoff game next weekend is uncertain.

"It looks to me that it's going to be a game-time decision on him," coach Wade Phillips said. "It's Monday game week. He probably couldn't have played today."

Tony Romo hopes to have Terrell Owens as an option Sunday against the Giants.

Owens has a high ankle sprain and was limited in a light workout Monday, the first for the top-seeded Cowboys (13-3) since learning they will play the New York Giants in the NFC divisional playoffs Sunday.

"It was a limp-through for him, a walkthrough for us," Phillips said.

Owens has 81 catches for 1,355 yards and an NFC-high 15 touchdowns. This was the first time Owens had taken part in any team drills since he got hurt in the first half Dec. 22 at Carolina when his leg caught underneath him while being tackled.

"There is a dilemma there, certainly, in what percentage he's going to be healthy," Phillips said.

Owens wasn't seen in the locker room when it was open to reporters Monday. Team spokesman Rich Dalrymple said Owens didn't plan to talk until after the game.

Phillips had said last week he hoped Owens could return to practice Wednesday or Thursday. But that may not happen. So the Cowboys have to wait to see if Owens practices before they even determine if he plays.

"If he were able to practice Wednesday or Thursday, Friday maybe, it'd clarify things a little easier," Phillips said. "If he can't (practice), that's why I said it'd have to be a game-time decision.

"From his history, from his toughness, his ability to withstand those kind of things, I think those are all positives," he said. "But you still don't want to put him in harm's way."

Phillips said he's worried that playing T.O. against the Giants might affect his status for the rest of the playoffs, and called him a "game-time decision."

NYG is 8-1 on the road for a reason

Who was that one loss against?

Some team that didnt have Terry Glenn, Terrance Newman, Tank Johnson in the line up.

Is NY missing a Pro Bowl TE too in Mr. Shockey?? I wonder if that might sting just a bit vs Dallas as he has been their primary weapon in the games vs Dallas.

Oh yeah doesnt TO have a history of healing quickly? I kinda remember him breaking a leg & coming back much sooner than expected & having a monster game in a Super Bowl....

Wonder if Dallas has been holding back a little of the playbook too in the last 3-4 games? Maybe just maybe that could be a factor....

Lastly what was Dallas motivation for that game vs Washington? That's right nothing they had everything locked into place already. Come to think of it some starters didnt even suit up...TO, Terrance Newman, Jay Ratliff, Andre Gurode & Pat Watkins.

Id be much more apt to take the Giants if the book wasnt begging for a Giants play at +9. That line is way too high for a reason. Ill pass

f I were a Cowboys fan, this is the stuff that would keep me up at night:

Romo's thumb
TO's ankle
Their December swoon
Vacationing with Jessica instead of watching game film
"It's hard to beat a team 3x in one season"
Assistant coaches interviewing all over the country
Giants 8-1 on the road
Wade Phillips 0-3 lifetime in the playoffs as HC
Romo's stats the last 4 games (70.3 QB rating, 3 TDs, 5 INTs)

You are aware Im sure that everyone also knows what you know and will be thinking the same thing so why is the line a whopping nine pts? The public will be jumping on the 9 pts in my opinion and the book isnt in this to lose money. Look at all those swell reasons to bet agianst Dallas plus the 9 pts. You are making me lean towards Dallas
