- tb oline banged up
- romo much better than garcia , and he will have more time to throw
- dallas has a better dline than tb and will pressure eli more

does terry glen play ?
whitten has owned NY - will this suddenly change ?

to's health a big concern, but we won't know how effective he is until after the game starts.

i want to bet NY, but they struggled with dallas twice this year and the second time was a good ass thumping.

what makes ny better than a 10 pt dog now ? a better rushing attack ?

the dallas D has been stout against the run all year.

disclaimer: i'm a big giants fan

in both games these teams played against each other this year, dallas scored a td on long td passes late in the game to create the final margin of victory.

i'm not saying dallas is not the better team, but both of those games could have easily just been 3 and 4 pt victories instead of 10 and 11 pts.

in the second game that the cowboys won, the giants scored a td in the 4th quarter that tied the game at 24, BUT there was a bogus holding call that negated that td, and the giants had to settle for a fg instead.

to me this game depends on TO and if he is effective or not because its no secret he has always given the giants fits, dating back to his days with philly and even the niners.

i'm betting the giants +7.5 partially because i'm a homer, but also because i think TO is not going to be effective.

I like the Giants for a couple of reasons:

-TO is a game-time decision which tells me that even if he plays he won't be 100% (He burned the G-Men the last time they played so not having him 100% is a pretty big blow to the Cowboys)

-It's all about MOMENTUM and Giants have alot of that! Cowboys, on the other hand, looked FLAT the last three weeks of the regular season.

I think the Cowboys come out flat because of the extra week layoff and reports of Romo hangin' out with Jessica Simpson. However, they are still the superior team and will start clicking in the 2nd half!

Cowboys 27
Giants 23

Giants lose a close game, but cover the spread!:00hour

He played on Monday, so he'll definitely play against the Giants.

Posted in another thread, but I'll post again in this thread as I have some decent information. We'll see what happens on Sunday.

I don't know Wise about your pick. I'll try to explain my thoughts. Owens being out would cripple this offense and Dallas has really sucked down the stretch. I also believe the G-men will get pressure on Romo with their solid defensive line and cause some mistakes by Tony Simpson... sorry, I mean Jessica Romo. It's also VERY tough to win and cover 3 times vs. the same team in a season.

My guess is Dallas wins, but they don't cover. However, the G-men money line has to be tempting considering they're 8-1 on the road with their last loss @ Dallas in week #1. Eli actually looked fairly good @ Tampa Bay and Jacobs is a beast and should have a big game vs. Dallas.

When was the last time Dallas even won a playoff game? Dallas hasn't won a Playoff game since 1996 and Phillips has NEVER WON a playoff game.

Just some things to consider, but Owens being out would crush the Cowgirls. Dallas only beat Carolina by 7 points a couple weeks ago.

One last thing is TO didn't even show up at practice on Wednesday and the Cowgirls haven't proved they're a top notch offense without him.

Above the Clouds....
Dallas has handled them twice this season and no reason they can't do it again. TO is practising and the Giants are beat up. I know the 3rd time is a charm but I don't play trends. GL!
