i have been searching my local listings and espn.com but i cannot find when notre dame's bcs bowl game is. i've grown quite fond of watching this consistantly mediocre team in a bcs game and i want to be sure not to miss it. can anybody tell me when the game is?

Rumor has it NBC is going to create a January bowl game that's exempt from NCAA rules that require teams to have 6 wins to participate. Not only would this ensure that ND makes a bowl game every year, but it would also allow NBC to include an opponent that the Irish could be competitive with.

Northwestern vs Notre Dame....new years day....at Soldier Field......Catch the excitement.....it would probably outdraw both Cubs and Sox Fan Fest, not to mention whatever Blackhawk Game that would be played.

Seriously, that QB for Appalachian State is quicker than Pat White for West Virginia. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays in the NFL.
