Ran a red light last summer, gave it to my attorney. I was facing 3 points and $175. She got it down to parking in a loading zone "Zero" points $150 fine. Not the greatest story in the world but not getting any points was very cool with me.

any good stories out there???

In 1972 I got a ticket for parking in a loading zone in another city. Never paid it, still have it around somewhere?

Had a parking ticket in town here along time ago and I remember it was a $2 fine.

Hell I don't know
When I was 16 I was wrote for 73 in a 40. I went to court and told the Judge the Officer suggested a 500 word essay. The Judge said ok, gave me a month to write it, when I returned it he read it and said "looks like you learned your lesson... ticket dismissed!)

I guess I really hit the jackpot with this lawyer that I found. He may be the only, true, honest lawyer out there that isn't after all your money.

Last year I was involved in a multi-car accident on the interstate, and I was 1 of 2 people that got a ticket....(following too closely). The ticket and court costs alone were gonna be $170. This guy went to court, got a continuance, went back to court for me a month later, got it dismissed, and all I had to pay was $108. That's it!!!! :00hour

Well, I just got another ticket for driving without a valid license...(of course I got pulled before I made it in to get renewed). Again, the fine and court costs are listed at $170 total. I just dropped everything by his office because the court date is Monday. He told me that he should get this one dismissed as well. He said as long as he does get it dismissed, he's only gonna charge me $50!!!!! :spotting:

ya mean like the dumb-ass's who don't get in the left-hand lane when they see that an officer has pulled someone over on the right shoulder.

Burns me up..The guy is trying to keep jerks who insist on changing lanes and doing 15+ over the speed limit from killing somebody and the morons don't have enough sense to signal and move to the left lane so the officer doesn't have to fear for his life..

$650.00 fine here now for failure to move to the left lane ..bet ya they get a clue now..:00hour

You would be surprised.... some people are just too stupid to realize there is a police car lit up with L E D's right in front of their face!
Before the move over or slow down law was passed semi drivers would try to get close enough to blow off the hats of State Troopers :scared

Back in the 70's ( man I'm dating myself again ) I worked at a fast food joint. The local cops came in every nite and got free food. Well we closed the shop at 10pm and it was drag racing time. I drove a Road Runner at the time and there were plenty of muscle cars around. Got pulled over many times but never got 1 ticket. I guess cops that get free food didn't write tickets back then. :142smilie

Did get asked to take it out of town more than several times.

Man I have a bunch of stories! :mj07:

Probably until you get pulled over in Virginia again :mj07:

BTW fukin sweet avatar. I miss the Leetch days. I would seriously consider giving up my left nut to see his jersey retired in person on Jan 24.

Got out of 3 speeding tickets due to improper equipment.

My uncle owns a trucking business and he got someone to write the paperwork up that the speedometer was not calibrated correctly.
