Green Bay is coming off a bye week and then you have to take a look at Seattle's road record in the playoffs," Johnston said during a phone interview this week. "I remember we had a bye week each time we won the Super Bowl. It absolutely makes a difference.

"I remember playing that wild-card game (in 1991) and the next week we lost at Detroit. It's tough enough to win on the road in the playoffs, but facing a team with a week off makes it all the more difficult."

Johnston said the teams appear evenly matched, though he believes the Seahawks offense, reliant heavily on quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in recent weeks, is a bit one-dimensional. He is also intrigued by how the Packers would handle the Seahawks pass rush led by All-Pro end Patrick Kerney.

Just after 10 o'clock Friday morning, about when the Hummer showed up, so did hundreds of Packers fans who wanted to shovel snow out of the stadium. About 3 inches fell Thursday night.

Many were turned away because the Packers needed only 300 shovelers. They shoveled the aisles and benches and loaded the snow onto a slide that funnels the white stuff down to the field, where bulldozers push it away. These people do this for $8 an hour, prompting the question: Why?

"It's Lambeau Field, it's the Green Bay Packers," said Aaron Popkey of the Packers communications department. "People just have an appreciation for the stadium and what it represents. If you don't have tickets to the game, this is one way to come in and experience Lambeau for a while."

I have been thinking about making a play tomorrow on Jessica Simpson, I mean Tony Romo,
I mean Dallas Cowboys.

Geez I got distracted there for a second.

My ideal matchup to bet on will be if Dallas wins this game and the Packers come back to Texas for the Championship game.

Dallas may be ripe for a upset and I put all my effort into Green Bay this week so I guess I will lay off and just watch this game closely.

Nothing like some bouncing titties though to make
a game interesting.

Just a side note, when I play a favorite and buy down the points, I am always very comfortable
with the regular spread on the Packers and them covering the -7.

The reason I buy it down like that is it is the only way I have of protecting my money when I am going to bet what I consider alot of money.

So it dont make two shits to me if the number falls between a prime number or how many games have done what. Its the way I play. It works for me.

I bought the Dallas / Panthers game down and I was one of the few that won taking Dallas because of it.

Game Summary

NFL Record 9-2 2007 + $ 2270.00

NFL Playoffs 1-0 2008... $ 988.00

That was a exciting game to watch. A player standout other than obvious Grant and Favre was
Atari Bigby (sp) on Packer defense. That guy was flying all over the field and laying some wood. He was running up 15 yds and leveling them in the snow. It was a awesome thing to see.

Hasselbeck and Alexander did not play up to expectations and the snow really affected the QB
with his limited option of receivers. Alexander should never have been resigned by Seattle, he is done.

Grant over 200 yds , wow . I am not sure he will do that in Dallas for instance. He is good but will not be dominating to a real ball hawking run defense. Favre played so well even after being down the 14 pts. Pinpoint passes through the blizzard like snow in Lambeau. Many excellant receivers to throw to. Packers defense played very well. They did not pressure Hasselbeck like I would have liked, but they were effective.
