I would love here your breakdown of tonight's CSU-Butler game......dont see myself playing it all, but curious as to what your take on it is. CSU has been a great story thus far this year. They are in first, rather than Butler right now in the Horizon. Its been so long since the Vikings were any good that this is as big of a home game that they've seen. Hey, they beat WSU down in Dayton, while Butler lost there.....beyond this game, however, is CSU a real threat in the league, like WSU was last year or are they just off to a nice start.

Thanks, I will hang up and listen. :SIB

My take:

My take:

The line opened at 6.5 but I needed +7 to play it. I thought it would move up to that number but instead has dropped to +5.5.

My concern with the Vikings is that they have come out and pissed their pants in the first half of their other two big home games (Ohio St. and Kent St.). If they do that tonight, Butler will slow the game down to a crawl and it could get messy. I really think CSU needs to get the pace up to have a chance. Butler's last 7 away games (6 wins) have all had a pace/tempo below 60. CSU's success this year has been when the pace has been in the high 60's. Of course, from a pure betting standpoint, a lower pace gives each point more value.

I'm laying off the side unless it gets to 7 (unlikely) but will be interested in the total when it comes out. My plan is to go downtown, have a couple of cold ones and watch what should be an interesting game.

I think the BG/Buffalo is about right. BG has been tough to figure out. I certainly wouldn't lay chalk with them and it's tough to back Buffalo on the road. I'll pass.
