Just started reviewing the card for tonight and found one play that should be an easy winner.

Missouri @ Texas Tech - I guess the oddsmakers were impressed by Missouri playing Kansas a close game. The truth is Kansas played one of their poorer games this season. Rush couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat as he was 2 for 14 from the field and the Jayhawks were HORRID from the charity stripe. I was sure happy as I backed Missouri +7.5 and sweated out a victory. However, this game matches a Texas Tech which plays VERY well @ home going 8-1 SU & 5-1 ATS!!!:00hour The Red Raiders are 5-1 all time vs. Missouri in Lubbock. Missouri HAS YET to win a road game this season going 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS. If you count the Illannoy loss in St. Louis, they're 0-5 SU & 1-4 ATS and they're 1-6 SU when they leave Columbia with the one win being before a home crowd in KC against Maryland. Misery is coming off a draining loss to their arch rival Kansas as well. Hannah was injured in the game against Kansas as well and didn't play well after the injury. Add up everything and you have a nice public winner tonight in Lubbock.

Texas Tech -1.5 for 10* - Get your guns up Texas Tech! You're going to use a shotgun approach to conquering Misery. Just kick their heads into the ground and beat them like their Aggies:00hour

Back with more plays later tonight.

I love Tech as well.....seems like Missouri has sorta hit a wall in their progress with Anderson's system.....Tech played well on the road at Oklahoma over the weekend, and should be lathered up for a big home win tonight that will get them back into ncaa tourney contention.

While we're talking about the Big 12, Baylor catching 9 over tamu looked attrative as well.....any thoughts there?

Just read my post and it should read WEDNESDAY PLAYS! Apologize as I'm half-asleep right now.

Not sold on Baylor @ Texas A&M, but wouldn't take the Aggies either. A good game to pass IMO and gather information. Baylor is ranked for the first time in ages and it will be interesting to see how they respond in a hostil environment against a team with a far better frontcourt.

Adding Iowa State +24.5 for 10* - The Cyclones are flying under the radar and with 4 starters over 6'-6", they could produce some matchup problems for the Jayhawks. Iowa State is also playing much better since Wesley Johnson became healthy and the Clones lone big 12 loss was @ Baylor in a game where they had a double digit 1st half lead. I can't see Kansas getting sky high for ISU, but I can see ISU hangin within 25 points. Let's say Kansas by 16 to 18 points.

I like Wesley Johnson's game as well, he has a Tayshaun Prince-like build and game.

Anyway, getting back to Baylor-Tamu. I like your philosophy of observing the game for possible future plays. Thats what is great about college hoops, after tonight there still a dozen or regular season games for these guys to play. Sometimes, its all about watching and waiting to hit a team at the perfect time.

That said, the line just jumped out me (cue the "Vegas is begging for Baylor money" line). BU is having a renaissance, but they've been quite the moneymaker for two seasons now, logging a 19-7-1 ATS mark in league play since the winter of 2005. Will Baylor be able to maintain that ATS success as they morph from dog to favorite? Thats a big question for the season. Yet, we see them tonight back in the role they've been in for so long: heavy underdog, in a series where the underdog has cashed seven of eight in the building where the Bears have covered four in a row in to boot.

Maybe tamu comes out guns a blazing after being embarassed twice last week in road games. But, they have not done anything all that impressive at home yet this year either. Personally, i think they miss AC Law more than their record so far this year has let on. I have all day to ponder it, but it might be hard for me to stay off of Baylor tonight.

Regardless, it looks like a nice night for big 12 hoops with a lot of intriguing matchups.

Nice 20* worth of winners betting against the local schools... Iowa State was a nailbiter, but Texas Tech was fairly solid. Hopefully I won't forget to post the correct day next time I post:mj07:
