Duke faces a tough road game tonite. Va tech will attempt to slow down the game if they have any chance.
I don't think they can do it. Here's why:
Duke games this year avg 159+ ppg.
Duke avgs 85 ppg.
Duke is 4-1 over on totals of 144' or less (one loss when favored by 32 against E. KY) they probably coasted played backups, etc.
Duke shoots 48% from field avgs 60 shots per game.
Only Pitt has held Duke to less than 70 point this year.
I just don't think Va tech can slow the game down to a score in the 60's.
I see think this number should be at least 145.
Va tech has played 3 conference games this year, all have gone over the total.
This game should go over with very slight lean for duke to pull away late in the game.
