Regarding Gordon's game: I like the kids attitude, but is very guilty of trying to do way way too much.....not sure he has adapted his game to the fact that he's not his teams best and/or most important player. That would be DJ White, and if Bassett were healthy, I think he's a better player than Gordon right now as well.

There's been a lot of blog debate about whether or not Gordon is ready for the NBA.

Also, in this game Mike White and Thomas have been very good contributers in Big 10 play and other big games this year, but both are coming up small today, or at least not clutch. That Uconn size and physical presence down low is messing those guys up.

Uconn up 9 now, biggest lead of the game.

Twice this half I sensed that IU was about to seize momentum, but each time Uconn beat that back by making plays.

Huskies own a 15 to 5 rebound edge this half! :scared

IU has no confidence right now on the inside. First time all season that I've seen that out them. Its starting to even affect DJ White, who missed a short J he usually drills and let a pass go right through his hands on IU's last two possessions.

Big ten is so bad this year. Purdue-Wisky game is going to be as exciting as watching paint dry.

On other channels:

UK and South Carolina are headed for a great finish. Cocks been hot behind the arc this half, 4 treys, and have a taken a lead.

While Okie St has a very early lead over Tamu. Aggies have eight TO's and only 3 made FG's in the first nine minutes of the game.

Again, another lurch of momentum towards IU, but Uconn thwarts it. After that terrible in bounds turnover, Huskies have the ball to go up 9 again.

I took the Over in the Kansas game (130), seemed like a gimme. However, Nebraska may not score 20 this game. Hoping for a 91-40 final. Pretty close to last years' final at Lawrence sadly.

UK-So Car:

8 minutes to go, Cocks up 1....UK has made 11 of 15 FT's while South Carolina has yet to even attempt a free throw all game. Interesting.

IU just cant get over the hump so far today. It would be a huge win for Uconn!

Billy Packer just said Thebeet should have flopped. Are you kidding? Thats just what we need, more players flopping. We get enough of that in one half of a duke game.

Indiana is a sad excuse for top 10 team.

Extremely immature.

They can not defend the most of offense sets. Can't rebound for shit either.

Losing to an undermanned UConn team @ home is pathetic.

Thank goodness I ended up passing on them today.

I need a rally in these 4:00 tips or this is going to be a Ugly Day for me!!

Got Purue, SDSU and Baylor.

Purdue missing on some easy looks early! :scared

I'll share my IU thoughts maybe sometime later today, but that had zero answers for Uconn's defense this afternoon....give the Huskies credit, they played their butts off on D and on the boards.

Good luck with Wisco in the second half Mr. P.....game can go either way, that was a huge three to end the half by the Badgers.....not a very pretty game, but both teams are going at it.....i think that home emotional edge will get the Boilers by the end, however.

Oklahoma sure is impressing me right now. Baylor is going to have dip deep to pull this one out. Long way to go, however. Loungar just went to bench with 3 fouls for OU. Sooners up 9.

SDSU vs UNLV has been a fun game to watch in the first half with early first place on the line......I am not sure I should watch the 2nd half though. As i watch and get comfortbale with my SDSU play, they will pan over to Steve Fisher and I instantly start shaking about having money on them. He kinda has a Haray Caray-esque look to him these days with those glasses.
