No wonder why or how the queer Jared lost all that weight, put some meat on the f-cking sandwich, would you?

I just picked up lunch from here and it truly is a last option for me. It is not that I don't care for the sub, I would just like them to make it for grown man not someone that is on a diet. And to add insult to this, I ask for just some black olives, and they put 3 sliced olives are each side. WTF??

Perhaps I need to be on a diet....

Funny you mention the black olive thing. I was just complaining a few weeks ago about how people making sandwiches always feel like if you say "mustard" (for example) that means you want the whole freaking bottle!

You're ****ed if you say jalapenos! They must think if you say jalapenos that they want to see how tough you are.

When I ask for a topping (?), I want it to compliment the sandwich. Not overtake it.

dawgball (former sandwich artist in college) :)

Every person making sandwiches at Subway is different. Just make sure you tell them light (insert topping), or tell them you want more of something if they don't put enough. I personally love the black olives too....and they never put enough, so I just tell them to put more on there. As for the mayo, mustard, etc.....I'll tell them WHOA!!!!!! if I see them drowning the sub.

I don't understand why anyone would eat at Subway when there is a Quizno's right around the corner.

Anyone have a Lenny's Subs in their area? It is a nationwide chain that is growing like crazy and is by far my favorite choice other than a Mom & Pop shop.

Quiznos is good...but overpriced....plus I find Quiznos makes mistakes ALL the time...I can't tell you how many times they have screwed up my sub :nono:

as for Subway.....I like their grilled chicken......but when they got rid of the stamps....that hurt bad:nono:

I couldn't agree more about Quizno's, but there aren't many here and the ones that are 2 of them just closed. No lie, it seems like there is a Subway at every block. Case in point there are 4 Subways within a 5 mile radius from where I live.

I'm not sure why subway is always the #1 franchise every year. But you can get double meat for a extra 69 cents where I live. Pretty good option.

If you frequent the same shop, throw the high school kids a couple bucks tip. Before you know it, they are giving you free drinks & chips etc.. I'd rather see the kids making 6 bucks a hour get the money anyway.

agree, quiznos is over priced. PLus, it seems like they are small.. and their topping selection is basically non-existant other than meat on a bun with 5 flavors of meat to choose.

i gotta eat like 2 or 3 quizno sandwhiches to get that full feeling of contentment and its like 7 bucks a frigging samich!

subways, get a foot long, for less the price and more flavor and it fills me up pretty good.

Possibly because they played off the health kick, and kudos to them. I usually have to get the foot long sub and condense it into the six inch.

I guess I should put the disclaimer out that every sandwich I get is plain, only cheese or black olives, no lettuce-tomato or anthing else. Perhaps this is why my sub is lacking, I'm a genius, so called one.

We have 3 Subways within a 3 mile area and the only Quiznos went belly up in 3 months.

ours did too. Way too expensive, slow, always people working there who were not courteous. Good sandwich yes, but 2 people shouldn't be more than 20 bucks.

I'm also opposite on the topping at Subway. On my mayo, I they always have to pick up the bottle a second time for me. I like it dripping off the sides.

I get the screaming shits everytime I eat at Quiznos so I stopped.

Jr man up if you want extra meat ask for the double meat, its about 2 bucks more.

I have been on a subway kick. I get this.

12 " on wheat, tuna sub, extra cheese, black olives, yellow peppers, cucumbers, pickles, mayo and spicy mustard. Yummy

And four oatmeal raisin cookies. If you havnt got their cookies yet you are in for a treat. They bake them at the stores.

Last week I got two dozen cookies and gave them to crews that I was working with on a construction site. They lasted about 2 minutes.

I thought mexicans just ate tacos. :SIB

Jersey Mike's is my favorite.

Quizno's -- I could go on for days. Their commercials get me to keep going back, but I am disappointed EVERY time I go in there. Way too expensive, small sandwiches, staff is inept, and the sandwich never lives up to the promise my mind comes up with from the commercials.

'Which Wich' is a newer chain. Don't believe the hype. Terrible! And very confusing!

I always wondered what type of guy would eat at Subway. Like the one poster said, there are like 2 or 3 tiny pieces of meat. How does that fill any guy up? If you have to pay $2 bucks extra for you what you should have gotten in the first place, well, that seems kind of stupid.

Also, for any of you dieters, the bread is terrible for you.

Love it!!!!!!!

Going back to Chicago this weekend, and a long, overdue trip to Potbelly's will be somewhere on the schedule!!!

Use to live right down the street from the original.

Heard awhile back that they were planning on going public with a Starbucks like expansion plan (they have Starbucks influence on their Board). Would love to get in on that ipo if they ever did go that route.
