Even when Clemson's been below average, they've matched up well with UVA. Now, Clemson's a better team, to put it frankly.
I remember two seasons ago when Clemson had a one time lead of 37-5 over UVA on a cold Saturday afternoon.
Clemson played UVA once last year and was up 17 with 5 minutes to play before absolutely falling apart and losing the game.
Clemson's always been pretty good at UVA, and I think they roll by 15 today. Clemson was able to lock down Tyrese Rice last Saturday, holding him to 4 first half points. I expect to see Cliff Hammonds lock down Singletary tonight and someone else will have to beat Clemson. I don't think UVA has that someone.
Anyhow, Clemson -2 is one of the best lines I've seen all year.

Not until it's wayyyyy out of reach. Clemson led UVA by 15 with 4 minutes to go last year and lost. I'm sure Purnell remembered that.
