Penn -2 over Princeton ****
Been watching this game for a few weeks.There playing at the Palestra where Penn is 104-9 in the Ivy.They have won 23 str games..are 40-6 the past couple of years.Princeton has all its win at home..none on the rd.They are 0-8..Tigers have lost to powerhouses like Lehigh,Monmouth,and Lafayette.
Both teams have losing records and for the 1st time in 20 years these 2 teams won't win the Ancient 8 title.Imagine tigers winning 9 and penn winning 10..but upstate NY Big Red look to break the streak..
Talk about two great teams of the past...Penn is 7-14 and 2-6-2 ats at home.Prin is 0-8 but 4-2 ats on the rd.But think that doesn't play into tonites game...Tigers offense is one of the worst in the country..rebounding unreal.They can't rebound and worse everyone feasts on them in the paint.Penn can't hit 3's in practice let alone in games..Penn can't stop anyone on defense..they give up 77 pts a game..
Penns top scorer hasn't played last 2 games Bernardini..he's listed proable tonite..but don't think they need him..Others have stepped up including freshman Gaines who was Rookie of the week..Tigers don't have the offense to beat Penn.despite penns defense they have enough firepower to win this home game by 6-10 pts..think the line should be -4 or -5..love the -2...
