I love it....he has a chip on his shoulder the size of Nebraska.......if he ever crossed paths with WVU, he'd hang 80 on them.........he did a hell of a job keeping the recruits from the old staff on board as well as bringing in some speedsters that fit his offense........
It sucks that his family has to endure ignorant comments and ridicule b/c he is looking out for himself and his family, shows the lack of class of some of the characters that are a part of the WVU nation

Sheriff Finds No Reported Threats In Rodriguez Case
WAJR Radio News
Morgantown
The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department says it found no report of threats against former Mountaineer Football Coach Rich Rodriguez or his family since his decision to leave his alma mater for the University of Michigan.
A report was faxed to the sheriff?s office last week by a third party claiming the reports did exist and the sheriff should look into it.
Monongalia County Sheriff Joe Bartolo said Thursday hiis department crosschecked with the county's 911 center and neither agency had received a call for assistance from Rodriguez or his family.
The fax indicated the claims were also being sent to the Morgantown Police Department and the West Virginia State Police.
Rodriguez told the ESPN show ?Outside The Lines? that both his children and his brother?s children had received threats.
"My kids are eleven and nine. They shouldn't have to endure things like that," said Rodriguez, who claims some Mountaineer fans have taken their frustration out on his kids and other relatives.
Rodriguez breaks down during part of the interview. He says he understands there is animosity from many since his departure from WVU.
"I wish some of the people that are ignorant and that don't know or don't care what they're saying and what they're doing will see what it does to young people that had no impact in this thing, in this decision," he said.

Ahh, because since there was no police report filed in West Virginia means it didnt happen![]()
Ahhhh,
I guess if Rich Rodriguez says its true...it happened.
Dice, you seem to be intelligent.
Lets' see if we can see the truth. Rich is in Ann Arbor without his family. His wife and kids are in Morgantown. If you were the man of your house and your kids were threatened.....would you not at least report it to the police? Especially, if you are 800 miles away?
Now, let me ask you another question. Would you not just pack them and move them up to Ann Arbor for safety reasons? Its all bullshit.
Finally, I am thrilled he is gone...WVU now will run more than 4 different plays and throw the ball on 1st down.:00hour
Wilson, you have 2 sides here...Rodriguez alleging that there were threats made to his kids and family and WV police saying no such reports have been filed.....one says yes its going on, the other says no its not.......my guess would be, that its somewhere in the middle.......
that maybe comments are/were made but not as bad or exaggerated as Rich Rod makes it seem....
To think such comments would not be made from the WV people is absurd, just based on the reaction of the WV fan base and school officials.
How could any fan of WVU be glad he is gone, he made the school's football program relevant again. The guy wins with his system so how can you even knock it?
