False Premise by those that don't understand the vote

False Premise by those that don't understand the vote

A candidate can not steal a American election because people vote for them. The idea that a candidate will take away democratic votes or republican votes is what's wrong with the mindset of the American voter and non voter. We the People should vote our conscience and let that be our voice. The only way an election can be stolen is when the votes are not counted as cast and when every American is not allowed to go to the polls and vote unicumbered by any type of threat. The history of America has shown, we don't have unicumbered elections 100% of the time. We don't have to go back to far to find an election the democrats stole or one the republicans stole. When American voters cast their vote, that's their right. Their vote dosen't belong to a party. Candidates and voters don't steal elections, the people we intrust or system to have done so.

Why so late? He hasn't spent a nickel yet. Some of these people have spent millions of dollars competing for a job that pays #200K a year. This country is broke and disgraced. How much is left to steal ? The thumb puppets at Cable news channels probaably chipped in to pay him so they'll have something new to talk about.

If America was really ready for change, WE would put America first and say NO to the Left, WE would say NO to the Right and vote for Nader. There will be a small group of American Patriots with a consience that will vote for Nader. Americans are to worried about wasting a vote. Why waste a vote on Obama/ Dem or Mccain/ Rep ? We need a revolution, WE need to take our Country back. I'm not saying Nader is the one. I will say we need a third party candidate. Anyone ! It could be DTB. I'm serious. We need to break these two parties down and start over. Obama, if elected is like putting a piece of gum on a crack in the levy that our government built to protect New Orleans.... Mccain is Old Washington & all that it brings. It's not them, it's US . We get what We deserve. We are not Ready !

that would be great if we lived in Utopia instead of the United States. I'm just not going to vote for a candidate who has no chance to win. Why even vote?

Redsfan, I also didn't realize nader was a liberal. Don't really know much if anything about him.

I agree : no doubt but ..... I'm right there with you.... I have no balls just like you and the rest of us ....when do we hit bottom and come up for air ? when do we get crazy with our vote ? It's not like we have to go Charlie Heston and pick up guns. All we have to do is change the way we think and vote. WE are not ready ... WE are not ready ...

The announcement sure gives us more to talk about and like DTB stated, the prior number guestimates get thrown out.

I still think Cali stays blue but not as significant (can't call it as soon as the polls close)

Mizzou, Ohio and Fla become toss ups. I really thought that the dems had the advantage in all 3 states without Nader on the ballot. Throw New Mex in there as well.

There was hope (i couldn't think of a better word) that Obama might be able to carry one/some of the midwest red states, but I think they stay red with Nader on the ballot.

Personally - the more choices the better. Although until campaign finance reform we will only see the Nader's and Perot's as a third option. Bill Gates 08 will have to wait until 2012 or 2016

I've been umpiring everyday since Thursday and haven't had a chance to hear what the pundits have to say - I'm sure the program managers are happy to have something new to talk about.

What if Nadar's not just in for the usual dead end run. What if he wants some serious consideration for his "causes" etc from the Dem winner? Some kind of contract, then he'll bail and leave the red carpet for the flawless ride to the oval office for the D's candidate?

It would be a sharper move on his part than just being some attention whore and would be far more productive. He would be considered a martyr.

While talk of presidential elections is great, what we need is term limits on congress. These are the miserable fuks that are running for reelection day after day and putting the needs of themselves in front of the nation. Amazing we talk about the real power being held by congress and yet we allow them to stay in office for decades. You want change in america then tell these scumbags they have x amount of years and your out of here. I know it is a little off topic but I agree that our two parties suck and the way the system is set up it will only continue to get worse.

Nader cost Gore in 2000. At least many think that. He wont get 100000 votes total this time. He does not understand no one gives a chit about him any more.

If Hillary is nominated, Nader will probably hurt her quite a bit. If it's Obama then I don't think Nader makes a difference at all - Obama votes are probably solidified. He will hurt McCain a little.

Nader has a better chance of hurting the man on the moon.... Dems are going to vote for their party first, 9.7 of 10 times in this election... Nader said it best Sunday on meet the Press. If they can't win this election on the back drop of the last 7+ years of this administration, they should fold up the tent and go home. If the democrats can't win this election, they don't have a party. Not a viable one any way..... Look at the pattern : Carter / Reagan- Bush / Clinto / Bush / ????? ?/ ... It just swings the other way because we get sick of the BS and go the other way. There are only 2 choises. Well , we are only smart enough to deal with two ..... Nader recieved less than 3% of the vote he should be a factor but he's not. If We had 8 yrs of Nader, we would all be better off.

yeah, a decade of GW Jr was great. Budget surplusses turned into 10 trillion in debt. Par for the course if you examine his endless business failures.

The rest of us are trying to figure out how you "win" an occupation, but I gotcha. You are waging a war on "terror."

only people you got Jabbers was the moveon crowd--who read your post and can't the diff on small surplus in few years has nothing to do with 15 trillion.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings to the liberal element--but fact of the matter we were trillions in debt when Clinton left office.

You know- I wonder what % of population reads post like yours--

"Budget surplusses turned into 10 trillion in debt.

--and actually believe it--seriously.
