smurph....i don`t treat the liberals and democrats in this forum like i treat spy..that`s pretty obvious....we share the same value system,a love of the country ,but differ on how to get where we need to go...
i consider them internet "friends" or at the very least, respect-worthy ideological opponents....
you don`t see who he is and what he`s doing.....whether that`s willful,or you just don`t get it...that`s not the issue...
i`ll make it as uncomfortable for him as i can for as long as i can...
sorry
Love of this country? How can 4,000 soldier deaths be good for this country? If you loved this country wouldn't you want to do the right thing. I grew up in a time when America could hold it's head high and do the right thing no matter what everyone was doing. This nation is rotting from the head down. We are losing our freedoms, our economy is debt ridden, thousands of illegals are crossing our borders everyday, the government is doing nothing. America use to make everything, now we buy everything, from China. The dollar will soon lose it's position as the world's default currency. Bush is doing a tap dance, while Rome is burning.
Republican doublethink
doublethink is:
? The power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them . . . . To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies ? all this is indispensably necessary. Even in using the word doublethink it is necessary to exercise doublethink. For by using the word one admits that one is tampering with reality; by a fresh act of doublethink one erases this knowledge; and so on indefinitely, with the lie always one leap ahead of the truth.
