Tulsa Golden Hurricane
Bradley Braves + 5.5 over (at) Tulsa Golden Hurricane
Bradley is 6-3 last 9 games including a 72-71 win at then No.16 Drake, which went on next game to win at then No.10 Butler 71-64. Braves rank 15th nationally averaging 9.1 three-pointers.
Chicago Cubs (Zambrano) - 125* over Milwaukee (Sheets)
Defending NL Central Champ Cubs are 5-1 versus Milwaukee last six home meetings dating back to last April. Zambrano went 2-1 with a 4.26 ERA against the Brewers last season.
LA Dodgers (Penny) - 1.5 (+125*) over San Francisco (Zito)
The offensively challenged Giants enter off a last place finish in 2007. Zito is 0-3 in opening day starts including a 7-0 loss to S.D. last season. Penny won at San Francisco 2-1 last April 7th.
The Tigers are one of the best teams in baseball on paper, and the Royals, not so much. Check out the 5th inning line for the game at Pinnacle: Detroit -195: full game -210. The 5th inning line seems right, I make it at -194. But the bad Detroit bullpen seems to be getting ignored here. I'm going to exploit that while I can.
Also really like Texas against Seattle. Bedard had an awful spring. I usually ignore all numbers from spring training, but I can't with Bedard because of his history with injuries. With a new team, he may be keeping something quiet. Even if he was in good form, Seattle doesn't have a good enough offense to justify being such a heavy favorite.
One final play is Pittsburgh over Atlanta. Glavine is cooked. Be warned though; I've been saying that for a few years now.
Superpick: La Angels with Weaver (Gee, that takes balls taking a -170 favorite)
Regular Play: Tulsa (CBI)

Oddsmaker's Error (260-149 in MLB '07)-Day
My Oddsmaker's Error is on the Cin Reds at 2:10 ET. With Harang on the mound and the addition of a solid closer, the Reds are a bargain at this price.
