Record 24-16

Stopped home real fast. Qualified this morning for a local bowling tournament, top 32 out of at least 300 over the past few weeks. Back at 4 for head to head, in the money.

redsfann, I qualified in the top 32 of 480 with a 644 this morning, that lets you know how the shot was as I was second. No good from there. Spotted the guy 16 pins as it was based off of 210 average and I came in at 217 therefore a net 0. He beat me the first game 186-172. I beat him the second game 175 to 163. Bad f-cking tempo. Lane 9 nice shot for swinging out of third arrow, Lane 10 completely lost. On 10, if I played third arrow hit went through the nose, moved right and left wash outs or couldn't carry. I even missed a 10 pin. The re-oil got in my head as it was like throwing on ice 2 arrow to the gutter, don't even try it. I would throw strike, spare, strike, open, strike, open. Never got a rhythm and lost my cool. I figured I needed to throw just about 380 or so for 2 games to advance. I cashed for 180, net 130 if you deduct the 50 entry.

All in all, a nice tourney for you, jr11. Know all about those crazy oil patterns. One of the houses here in town hosts a "sport bowling" tourney one Sunday a month. Reminds me a lot of the Nationals shot--thats to say--very tough one and hard to figure out when you are not bowling on it regularly. The house I bowl at puts down a pretty easy line so I joke with people that my avg is really 25 pins lower when I go bowl somewhere where there is a tougher pattern down...
