GOT TO RUN out and get my 8 year old niece some games for her birthday. Some of you guys must have girls this age, what games appropriate.:shrug:

my 8 year old daughter likes mario cart and the ones where you take care of dogs..
you have to walk them, feed them, etc... or they run away

my 8 yr old daughter like the "Nintendogs" game as well. they have three or so versions, all the same, just different types of dogs. other's she has and plays are "Disney's High School Musical:making the cut" and "My Sims (for kids)".
Nintendogs seems to be the most age appropriate for her. she can do everything the game offers, and enjoys taking care of the dogs, etc. she likes the My Sims, but has gotten to a point where she can't figure out how to get farther in the game. damned if i can help her.
