UConn -8.5 over Stanford **
I love this Stanford team.Wiggins is amazing,Appel inside and outside,Pederson is tough,etc.They are young like the Huskies though starting a lot of sophs and frosh..but Huskies have Moore and if you haven't seen this kid play your missing something.Only a frosh and won the BE Pl of the Yr. She avgs 17 pts and 7 bds but can flat out play.Montgomery is my fav. player.Great defensive player and she can score.She will have Wiggins toniter who is avg 44 pts a game in the Tourney and 28 for the year.Conn has to much speed and more scorers.And they are the better defensive team.They led the nation in FG% 49.7 and are No 1 in FG% defense making team shoot 37%.It;s been a few yrs since Gino has been there and he has the "greyhounds" to get to the finals.Wiggins can take over a game but I think she will have some trouble getting 44 pts tonite.Not a big play because I had the line at -7 or -8 and was hoping it would be -4 or -5. These guys played each other way back with Conn winning by 10 or 11.
LSU +4 over Tenn **
Not a big play because of Parkers shoulder.If Parker was 100% I would flip this play.Parker with the bad shoulder has to go up against Fowles who is an excellent defender at 6'4.Tigers gds of Leblanc,White,and Chaney almost avg 30 pts a game..and the Tenn gds had some tough times vs the Texas AM gds..LSU is No 1 in scoring defense and Tenn No 4 in offense.LSU has a lot of seniors and have come up short..think tonite they squeak out a close win...but if Parker plays big then the Tigers could be in trouble..
