Well tony, one thing I'd say here is this matchup will bring out the best(or worst) in both of these guys. A true crossroads fight for both. I understand your thinking and it could happen. It could also be Cintron's downfall if he wants to go toe to toe here. As far as Manny Steward as trainer, he hasn't been shining too much lately. So his guy Klits beat a fuking munchkin, big deal. It might be a good hedge play, but I think Margarito's granite chin may spell the difference.

What I consider a comment made by Margarito that concerns me. First off he stated he NEVER predicts KO's. What ever happens, happens. So happens he DID predict a KO versus Williams and we all know how that played out. Now he said it again. He starts by saying that as a rule he does not predict KO's, but once again he IS predicting a KO versus Cintron. WTF! To me this speaks to a certain mindset. Kelly Pavlik said it beautifully. He said Taylor was fighting to beat HIM, and not to win the fight. Same thing here it seems. You fight to win the fight; go with the flow as it were. If Margarito is hell-bent on taking Cintron out, he may be tasting the canvas himself. I don't really think so, but it strikes me as a little cocky.

Cintron by KO has value. More than a punchers chance. Guess we'll see what 3 years worth of maturity has done. For some guys, such as Zab Judah, it hasn't done poop.

Zab Judah is a bad example when it comes to maturing over time, the guy is a total head case. Cintron seems to have a decent head on his shoulders, and is much more capable of keeping his eye on the prize

Guess its how you look at it. I think its a good example of a lack of progress by Judah. Lets see if Cintron is a good example of progress. Semantics here, no? Margarito says he is coming out guns blazing from the jump. If we don't see flash KD's and Cintron doesn't suddenly develop hand problems, it may be a long nite, for both.
