What's the o/u on this guy either being sent down to the minors or coming up with a mysterious "injury" and being put on the DL? Wow, what a fall from grace. If you give up a HR to Paul Bako you aren't a closer on any planet.

Bringing a pitcher back on the 4th day ,after converting 3saves in arow is asking for trouble IMO.
You cant ignore the fact he has 6saves on the season thus far.
Look for the Brewers to give him the ball without hesitation in the future?:shrug:
You cant expect 4 days straight w/o a hiccup.. he has blown 2 saves opening day and yesterday, other than that has been solid IMO

If this guy pitching for a 3rd or 4th save in a row is too much work for him and ITS ONLY WEEK NUMBER 3:shrug: what the hell is gonna happen once we really get the season started say in like game number 97,98,99,100 and so on?? If that is the case we should cut slack on the manager because he's managed for 3 WEEKS IN A ROW, he's mind is a little tired:mj07: I understand rest but the season is still VERY YOUNG

If you remember Papalbon a couple years back they used him 2 much,not only did he falter later in the season,he blew out his shoulder,and was shut down the rest of season.
Closing games is a verlocity type pitchers game,and should be used with thinking the hole season,not just april,IMO.
I honestly didn't realize that was his 4th game in a row. I'm not so sure that excuses him getting lit up like a pinball machine though. Be a professional, take the ball and do your job. If you can't get 3 outs 4 days in a row, maybe you should start filling out apps for the paint section at Home Depot. There are guys that would give their left nut to be in his position, and they would accept a fraction of what he makes. Maybe he needs to have his job taken away to remind him of how lucky he is?

Give the man a break he was tired too, and Yost should of went back to Gagne:mj07: I think someone said it best, I will ONLY play this team in the 1st 5 innings, other then that you are asking to get fu(ked!!!! Could be he was left out of the closers role,due to the signing of Gagne?Maybe Gagne shouldnt be closing games,maybe his time has past.
But honestly,closers are a certain breed,there not easily come by.For example,Hoffman from SD has struggled recently,a career saves leader.Also Corpas from Colorado has struggled when put into that role.
Not being bias,but the best closer in hole league hands down is Papalbon(yes I know LAA Rodregiuz is doing well to.)
When Wilson from SF is amoung saves leaders in league ,you know the job is not easy.
Bottom line pray that your team kicks ass,cause if it doesnt,no lead is safe with any closer on the hill IMO.
