The Rangers are going to start Jason Jennings today and not Scott Feldman. Jennings had been the original planned starter, but was pushed back to give him more rest. But with the bullpen in disarray (Both Josh Rupe and Frank Francisco) are unavailable, the Rangers decided to let Jennings go as far as he could and have Feldman as a long relief option.
If Feldman doesn't pitch today, he'd be a candidate to start Saturday's game. The Rangers need a starter for that game to replace Kason Gabbard, who was officially placed on the DL today with back stiffness.
The club also optioned Wes Littleton to Triple-A Oklahoma and recalled Kazuo Fukumori to try and give itself some length in the bullpen.

U and me both..nothing like a pitchers duel when I bet over 9 with 2 pitchers combined totals of 15.78....then the games goes to extra innings and lands 1-2 on a wild pitch!!!! LOVE THIS GAME:mj07:

different thought there, I was thinking this is Cuetos 3rd or 4th time out so there a little more studying of him goin on, I laid off the over because I wasnt sure if the Reds would hit the little white ball. Spilled milk so I am pulling BrewCRew(please dont bring in a closer) and Rocks at 3:30, more so the Rocks but the Cubs are like the Cards to me. When you need them they suck and when you fade them they are great:shrug: BOL PJ12
