pj.... i didnt see your post earlier, i was away from puter and cost myself some $$.... but cant sleep so thot id throw an answer at ya...

personally.... heres my reasoning...
1) I think Bobby Cox is one of the all-time great mgrs... he doesnt like losing, and is often full of piss n vinegar, he wont let his team get lazy
2) Braves had been playing well (swept the dodgers), and I dont expect them to get swept at home by Florida... or most any team
3) Kid pitching for Fla... has struggled... James has a little more experience... and in the 0-2 series situation, i felt he could/would rise up
4) chipper jones is as hot as anybody in baseball hitting for power...

thats usually enuf reasons for me... Good Luck

Ohio but not a Buckeye
If we can get ANY production out of our 4th-5th starters, we'd be a team I'd be confident in saying we could go far.

If Teixeira starts hitting, this lineup is gonna get very scary because Chipper is gonna do his thing.

The biggest weakness is no doubt our bullpen. However, if we can get Soriano back, and hopefully Moylan really isn't out for the season. On top of Mike Gonzalez here next month, our bullpen could be alot stronger.

There are alot of "ifs" with this team, but what team other than the Red Sox(who even have them) doesn't?
