Senior moment # 4. Old John I meant to say first war in 91 was about oil? Oh no I mean it was about Iraq invadeing Kuwait. There you go John.

they all make mistakes . John got on the plane and huddled with people smarter than him. Then he comes out and says , What I meant to say.

Give it a break John. He is going to get destroyed in any debate. He has trouble thinking on his feet. He gets tired.

Maybe its time for John to give George W another big old bear hug.

If you stop and think about it , when Bill Clinton was running for President, he was attacked on his personal life, his background, and alot of other things.

At the end of the day what it really comes down to can you lead this country into better times and back to what we expect. Take on the big oil, GM and Ford, health companies, Insurance Companys., and on and on.

We have to change the old guard of washinton.

We need honesty, leadership, get rid of lobby crap, clean house in washington.

Hillary loses immediately on honesty. She will lie through her teeth and goes on automatic to answer most questions. And what baggage the Clintons have.

Can a woman really win this election. Can a black man ? Or what about someone that is just old and should be retiring and enjoying life instead of trying to go for the highest stress job in the world. It has really aged George W as it does all Presidents.

Something that worries me is that Al Queda is not going to do anything big with George W still in office. They wont waste a attack on him. Look how they were able to totally enthrall George W and the US into fighting wars, having our men and woman killed, doing their propaganda thing in the muslim world. And George W is going down as the worst President ever. Its embarressing to him and us.

I am sure Bin Laden is sitting in a cave somewhere with a large Mission Accomplished sign hanging above his head.

When a new regime comes in, that would be the time to set the tone again.

I hope not, but it makes me think about it.

where will this all end.

John McCain-he's "too old, he's a "good man?likable," he would give the country more of the same-be another George Bush, and he has a "good military background." And the number of people who view him favorably are about equal to the number who don't like him.

When it comes to Hillary Clinton, the most common perceptions are that she is dishonest or not trustworthy, past scandals or baggage associated with her husband, the former president, that she is qualified, capable, and strong.

But the number of people who have a negative view of her-55 percent is almost twice the number that view her favorably?30 percent. Barack Obama is viewed slightly more positively than negatively-42 percent to 39 percent.

I see Johns team is out spining these remarks as fast as they can. Strange how John had it right. Iraq was not about terror. It was about Oil. The American people always new this. And it worked we now have 4 dollar gas. And two Hill/John think the 18 cent tax will save us if droped for 3 months.
Do the math.

Yeh they cant speak the truth out loud. Expecially something everyone already knows.

And if thats the case why dont we take over the fawking oiil fields in Iraq. Pump that shit directly into our Exxon oil tankers. Gas in US goes to
89 cents a gallon.

We should suck their oil dry and store it in the US. Then we should sell it back to the millde east for 400 dollars a barrel.

who is going to stop us. Al Sadr ?"

No Al Sadr ran to Iran . He is waiting for the US to leave so he can go in and cut off some heads and take over as a Dictator of Iraq.\

I hate it when its so predictable.

George, dont worry bud, I will keep us in Iraq for 100 more years. I will make sure that I get a worse President rating than you when I am done. I know that will make you feel better.

McCain got way too ****ed up hiding that gold watch up his ass while he was a POW in NVN after Bruce Willis's Dad died and couldn't hide it up his own ass anymore! Dude, it was Bruce's only inheritance from his father.

Just wait till News out lets turn there attention on you. You been getting a pass while the Dem's have there fight.
DJV Would like to see what was actually said rather than your interpretation--as we have experienced some slight diff in past--you know like
last one where you repeated blogs headlines - Wallace walks out of interview--and he was never evenpresent at interview :)

of course--out of context ads is nothing new-
Dean got caught with pants down on FOX sunday for doing same in political ads.

Political ad--
NARRATOR: President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for 50 years.

MCCAIN: Maybe 100. That would be fine with me.

What they chopped off in ad and his actaul statement--

MCCAIN: Maybe 100. We've been in South Korea ? we've been in Japan for 60 years. We've been in South Korea for 50 years or so. That would be fine with me, as long as Americans are not being injured, or harmed, or wounded or killed.

what fact check.org said about ad--
The non-partisan group FactCheck.org said, "What the DNC ad conveys is the opposite of what McCain said."

another one--

WALLACE: Governor, let's take a look at another of your ads, this time hitting what McCain has to say about the economy. Let's watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MCCAIN: I think you could argue that Americans overall are better off because we have had a pretty good, prosperous time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

WALLACE: But, Governor, you edited out what John McCain said in the very next sentence. Let's watch that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MCCAIN: But let's have some straight talk. Things are tough right now. Americans are uncertain of this housing crisis. Americans are uncertain about the economy.
Full transcript of Wallace/Dean interview

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,354105,00.html

--with that being said--does anyone have access to transcript of what was actually said-- Would be curious to read it.

DTB anyone listeing to news on any channel including fox. Understands what Old John said. They showed him say it with his own mouth. I do admitt he's getting passes from the press right now. The press is staying all over the dems race. John should consider him self lucky.
As for Wallace he did not walk off. He walked on the good morning show. Told them to act like fox news and keep it balanced. Then the young black hair kid walked off. Thats part of problem he's just a kid.

Thanks Smurph--at home where sound doesn't work on computer but will listen in am--
Didn't think it plausible he would say we went there for oil--but looking forward to what he had to say--appreciate the link.

sorry DJV but I've seen too many of your interpretations in the past--no offense buddy--but would rather here things from the horses mouth. ;)

Ind/NC election pundits

Ind/NC election pundits

Would be curious to predictions of those here on outcome tomorrow.

RealClear Politics has consensus today
Ind Hilliary +5.8
N.C. Obama +7

I believe they are about on # with Hilliary and will predict # at 6

had it much closer till recent wright fallout but O will pull big from only 2 districts he will win The 1st bordering his home state Ill which incudes Gary Ind and district 7 (Indianapolis). However even with 5 point win -delegates will be negligible per favored dem system of more delegates assigned to dem strongholds. H could easily win popular and lose delegates as in texas.

N.C. Think there all wet and can't see O not approaching double digits--will go with +11.
--if dems had 50% of voters in N.C. simple math gives O about a 40% spot going in per 22% of N.C. population being black. To lose in single digits here in primary with just dem voters would be next to impossible considering demographics in my view.

however hard to figure if black vote might be offended by O throwing wright under the bus--or might work other way if they are privvy to fact they and Obama were duped by the ole whitey hate rhetoric/spin as Wright is preparing to move both of his mercedes and family to his mill plus mansion smack dab in the middle of lillywhiteville.:)
