1st round: 10-6 +4.4
2nd round: 2-2 +0.19

I was talking Wings-Penguins about 5 or 6 weeks ago, a week or two before the playoffs, anyways.
Can't change my mind now. Not based on what I've seen already.

Nothing in yet but considering these:

series:
Penguins -1.5 games +115
Red Wings -1.5 games +120

I'd be stunned if at least one didn't bank.
Both look promising.

Probably do some type of games #1 move.
Can parlay both for +140ish but thinking about
trying the pucklines on both; would need both to get anywhere, really, but even hitting one would be profitable, for at least a 30% return.
Seems better than the parlay.

Philly should scrounge out at game at home,
but Wings may sweep--5 games max there, methinks; Sharks, save last couple of games, did NOT play well in these playoffs, and have nowhere near the defense of the Wings.

Could be wrong.
Going to book some beliefs regardless.

Also have the Wings alive on a few parlays.
Upset, here, would certainly do that.
Thinking something along the lines of 4-1.
Maybe even 4-2, or 3-1.
Any of the above would suit me.
That over 3 goals looks scrumptious--might pump it if early diamonds are mined, however

Thanks, Matt. Got lucky on that one.
Give me a shout later, if you like. I should survive the day, as long as I take it easy on the brews.

Penguins -1.5 +157 0.6/0.94

Almost chickened out, after hitting the one yesterday. Looks to me like a similar mismatch in this series, certainly for the Penguins home games. Flyers under 2.5 is tempting as Pens defense at home has been stellar for months. Also got the moneyline parlayed with the phillies so could use a Misch-mash there.

Looking okay, so far.
Backing off of the pucline stuff as I think that Turco might have a better game--really needs to if the Stars have any chance. Figure the Wings are likely winners but expecting a 2-1 or 3-1 type of game.

dal@Det un5 -115 0.57/0.5

Also took the ridiculously priced Wings on a moneyline parlay as I figure there's slim chance that they lose. WTF...been getting away with murder on parlays the past few days.

No plays in yet. Probably none coming. Still cheering Pens due to series action but can't touch 'em with current prices. Still, thought someone might be interested in my thoughts as I've been quite lucky so far this round. Did consider this one long and hard.

Flyers outshot the Pens every period in game #1. Chances really dropped off in the 2nd and 3rd periods, after the 5-goal first. I think that trend might continue (less chances, including minimal power plays) so I'm tempted by under 5.5. Thinking Penguins 3-2 or maybe 3-1. One problem is that I don't really think either goaltender in this series is anything special, so another 6-goal game could easily happen--no scoring in the third last time out and what are the chances of that happening again? Faceoff wins were even and, again, Philly outshot them in each period--Flyers steal a win if Fleury isn't on his game.

I think that the Penguins are the vastly better team in this series but definitely feel I got lucky with the puckline in game #1. Congrats to anyone who has the Wings for the Cup at anything better than even money--I'd say that's looking pretty sweet right now.

Price looks fair. Think I'm on the better team in this one.
Wings 3-2. In overtime if Turco is hot.

Yes, got lucky there. If you saw the first period then you might agree with that. Wings dominated the third.

Wasn't going to push my luck but Flyers now with two important D-men out. Why not?

game #3

penguins -115 0.8/0.7

Bound to lose one sometime this round.
Maybe, maybe not.
Thinking something like a 4-3 final. Like the side better than the over, though, and it's cheaper. Really like the Pens over 2.5 but it's pricey. A win will satisfy.

Think I'm done for this round. Wings price is a joke for game #4 and Pens might see similar nonsense. Tempting to go the other way but I'd like to see the series conclude to bag some more cash--the sooner the better. If either goes 5 it will be pricey--puckline will tempt but probably pass. Not even sure about the remaining totals. Finals should be entertaining. Maybe not profitable, though. Might try Wings in game #1 at better than -140. Might be worse. Enough rambling, here...I've got a some baseball blunders to recover from.
