office called me this afternoon. It was a kid with a speech impediment reading poorly from a script. I asked him some questions, and he then handed off the phone to his speech impediment mom. I talked with her about 20 minutes. All she could say was change, change, change. She ended up telling me she was pro-life :mj07: and that BHO had as much experience as Hillary :mj07:

The only thing she knew about BHO and the second ammendment was that he doesn't support convicted felons being able to purchase firearms. :mj07: no chit, so do I , and that's the law now.

She is also unemployed and has no health insurance. Shocker there; why else would she be cold-calling for BHO?

One of her questions to me right off was I a Democrat. I told her I was registered Democratic (duh, that's how u got my phone number).

When she would try to refer me to a website, I would ask her how she felt. She had as much grasp for politics as I do for rebuilding a carburetor! I guess this is a true, grass roots effort. I told her that he had already won and that Kentucky's primary really means nothing.

The only thing good about this is it's an actual person (although an idiot) making the phone call. I can't stand those automated election week calls from all the candidates. They're always at the worst times and a waste of time.

PS She was from Michigan and told me that 5 times. No wonder she was so dumb :SIB Go blue!

Wish they'd call me--I'd like to ask them

A: on economy
How is he getting all these groupies in each state to believe he's going to help there economy with his track record in Chicago--Ranked 6th on misery index (taxes-jobs-crime ect)in the U.S.-- of course better than Hilliary (NY ranks 4th)
How naive can you be when he made same promise to his own state and fails and now wants to take failure national:shrug:

Immigration-- his own city is sanctuary for illegals--what else is there to know?

Commander and Chief A 6 month toddler can wave a white flag-- Do you have any candidate with stratagie to win?

Able to cross party lines:
Give me some examples of how a person voted the # 1 liberal in senate voting has crossed party lines?

Taxes: thats a no brainer.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Would assume that his campaign has telemarketers ponding the marketing keys- sell the sizzle not the steak--as he has done in caucus and campaigns-
by--

1. Leveraging the power of inspiration

If you want your audience to love you, wear your T-shirt and forgive your weaknesses, then connect with them on a level beyond the rational benefits/details. The voter's long journey to the voting booth may twist and turn on those rational policy points, but selecting the candidate inside the booth is often a split-second, emotional decision -- in much the same way that consumers make product choices on the shelves.

Obama's campaign has laid out a clear set of inspiring values -- hope, action, change -- that weaves consistently through all forms of communication. The rest is commentary. And the campaign has been very good at seamlessly translating these values directly into simple slogans designed to elicit the same responses. Phrases like "Change we can believe in" and "Yes, we can" are examples of phrases that epitomize the Obama brand values and speak positively to the subconscious in a way that would make NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) practitioners proud.

"he's going to help there economy "

Wayne, I know you are a half full guy, but seriously? You voted for, twice, someone who has run up the biggest deficit in the history of the planet, expanded government more than anyone since LBJ, let the dollar sink to it its lowest lows while fuel and food costs have reached their highest highs. Fortunately, everything is great for me and mine because these things don't really affect my bottom line. But the net effect is killing the middle class, and that is the intended effect. I know that you see the world as free market capitalist republicans vs welfare state socialist democrats, but its just not that simple.

Let me guess, Jabberwocky. You feel stuttering is a disease......:mj07:

bad grammer just annoys me. Cie, I am out to kill my lawn today, and I am fired up about it. It is just a bed of weeds. I did some poison in one section, and it works, but I felt kinda bad about it. I just back from Lowes with rolls and rolls of contractor paper and a bunch of bricks (which I am going to use to make a back patio after my weed field is dead). I am going to lay the paper down, put some bricks on top, and kill that beast. Never been more excited about killing plants in my life.

I reached out, and I take it back now. Show me a post where I should be corrected and I will buy you a "support our troops" bumper sticker, or a flag lapel pin, your choice. It's not you're choice btw, it's your choice.

Cie, kinda looking for something to back up your smack. 6'5, me and you are gonna have a big fat southern man hug and drink some KY bourbon, and sing My Old Kentucky Home. I have much love for that state and Paducah in particular. Cie, looking forward to seeing you too, just don't bring any hamsters.

Jabber,

You're going about it the wrong way.

Do what I did.

Paint a big sign that reads,

"Experimental Crabgrass + Weed Garden"
