Since Stern is in the news with this horror show of his rigging referee maybe he will let this draft be on the up and up. I doubt it tho. Here are my thoughts about the draft. Lots of ifs.
. My prediction is that Memphis gets the first or second pick for their little favor they did for the league to let the Lakers become a powerhouse. They then can select Beasley and like last year with Odom and Durant, he can be shipped out West so the Goldenboy Lebron can still be the big focal point in the East. All you have to do its look for plots. Look for teams moving into new stadiums or something to suck in voters who are voting to keep a team put. (see Seattle last year) Are the Nets moving to a new Stadium this year? Its easy to figure out when you have a few bonafide studs at one and two but you don't have an Odom and Durant coming out. With Miami, is the league pissed off at some of the things Riley pulled down the stretch like with Boston the year before and somehow Boston mysteriously fell in the draft? Reilly does have a lot of pull iin this league tho. Would the league want Beasley or Rose to play in Miami with Wade and mess up with their major goal and that is to get Lebron to the championship? Or will the Knicks get the first or second pick because the league knows that Lebron is heading there in the future? The mind is always moving but some say the brain is in park. We shall see.
