Freaking AWFUL! Why does the a-hole shoot the 3 unless he knows they need the shot to push the spread. Did anyone else notice the fans screaming when he made it???

I wish they would have reviewed it. Reminds me of UCLA/Stanford game earlier this year when Love threw the length of the court pass for the cover at the buzzard. Of course I was on Stanford that night.

Sasha is a true a-hole. Shot didn't look like a 3 either.

I wish they would have reviewed as well, just to make sure.

Also, a reluctant congrats to everyone on Lakers. Man, that one hurts b/c I went 6 units on it.

This one along with Cubs game last weekend (Soriano drops what would have won the game)....man, so much lost money...

So. Cal
then again, why would the spurs take a shot with 12 seconds left, a made 3 by parker to cut the lead to 5 if they weren't going to foul afterwards???

It was a good 3 ball. I watched it on the DVR.

I think the fans screamed cause they hit 100, not cause they pushed it to 8.

3 seconds, you amaze me. Do you really think the fans care about 100 points? Have you ever been to LA? Everyone wagers in LA... I would guess more people bet in LA percentage wise than almost any city.

Now Sasha, I hope someone hurts you. In some foreign countries he would be dead right now.

gjn23, I will say that the spurs could have fouled. Hell, I was hoping they would and maybe somehow the Over would hit. I think they just realized the time was against them and conceded...

One of my pet peeves is to see the losing team dribble out several seconds on the clock. I just think they don't deserve to do that. If its 1-2 sec's thats ok....but I hate to see several seconds left and the team that's losing won't at least shoot. Thats classless.

Overall, when a team concedes, you should dribble it out. If Spurs were pressuring at all and he took the shot I wouldn't complain.

Its more of an unwritten rule of class. They concede and you run it out. How much simpler does it get...

EVERY 1 IN this forum...

EVERY 1 IN this forum...

Has been beat or won by an uncontested layup or 3 that serves no purpose.....It is just payback for the times you should not have won.....I have been beat many times on a layup that serves no purpose but tonight I was on the other side....it all evens out....Parker had no business taking a 3 w/ around 10 secs to go...are they going to foul? NO! ! ! ! so why take the shot??? Well, LA did just the same. Parker doesn't shoot nor does LA it still ends up an 8 pt gm.

al least this will not happen again as he will have a little talk with phil and the nba about dribbling out at end of game especially when pointspresd comes into play and someone does something out of the ordinary. they do not like something like this to happen to open discussions about gambling although everyone knows pointspread.
was traveling when game was on and had to listen on radio and announcer said lakers were dribbing out clock and then said final was 100-92; what did charles say after the game on tnt. you should have been able to tell which side he was on by his comments.

Yes, we've all been on both sides. But don't say Parker had no business shooting whether they plan to foul or not.

Also, keep in mind, Parker hits the "3"....maybe the strategy is go for the quick steal realizing that would help while fouling would not.

Spurs had conceded...Lakers had not.
