Is Barack Obama for Reparations?

I would like him to clear up his position on what he would do if we were attacked by a Muslim state. Would he be on their side or ours?
His middle name is Hussein, and is dad is a muslim. It's pretty obvious he would be on their side.
what a bunch of hypocrites. about half bush's inner circle are literally citizens of israel. one of them, michael chertoff, who's supposed to be running security for us, let a mossad team go back to israel after it was caught taping the WTC attack. the team was in place before the attack. muslims aren't the problem. jews are the problem.

Lets say we pay every disadvantaged black a million dollars, and call all debts squared at 12.01 on feb 1, 2009. What happens for the next poor black kid born @ or after 12.01? Will you also pay the blacks who were owned by blacks as slaves? I am a first generation american who grew up damn poor. Way poorer than Barack. I paid my own way through college, and post-graduate studies. I really would like to hear his answer, and put this $hit to rest once and for all.

That depends on what your definition of ours is. I think I speak for many Americans when I ask : who is on our side ? When I see a post like this, I wounder what side are you on ? If you want to clear that up.

on repararations --only thing I could find a while back as far as his acknowledgement to issue was when asked by Chicago Tribune Obama--spoke about how slavery had left a stain on the country that has yet to be eradicated.? Nevertheless, he said that he opposed ?just signing checks over to African-Americans.?

The issue became so big that the CBS Evening News, then hosted by Dan Rather, did a story about the controversy, highlighting the fact that the Chicago City Council has become the fourth major city to pass a resolution calling for reparations.
probably more relevant is a nortorious race baiter on the Chicago City Council- Alderwoman Dorothy Tillman.
both have backed each other in their campaigns.
This lady is a story on her own in crusade for reparitions. Could do paragraphs on her--but still does not condem Obama on issue--unless guilty by association.
Issue was brought up during a Democratic presidential debate and only Dennis Kucinich said he favored reparations. Obama said he favored more spending on schools.
So wouldn't put the tag on him yet-but distinct possibilty as he has favored affirmative action in past.

Not every white person in America has a sense of entitlement but there are some. Not every black person in America uses slavery as a crutch but there are some. Let's move on. Barack Obama doesn'r speak for all blacks and he is running to be President of the United states of America. He is not running to represent black people. Has every President that our Country elected to this point only represented white America ? Even if he wanted to; reparations would never make it out of the House or the Senate. If we are to take Obama at his word, like we did Bush, he is looking to bring America together and reparations would be ten steps in the wrong direction. We don't need reparations for poor blacks in this Country. We need equal public education for poor blacks & their brothers and sister in the poor white communities to give all poor Americans a chance. Reparations = smoke screen. This is another example of how a segment of white America is anxious of the possibility, a segment of black America finds comfort in that anxiety. Do you know that there are some blacks in America that vote regularly and have never voted for a black for anything. Obama is the first non white close enough to the White House to make white America think about a few things.
