Welcome to the "Barack Hussein is God" love-feast. Olbermann quote "Has a tingle running down his spine". Matthews & Russert have the widest grins in the history of television on their faces. Even Tom Brokaw, who is the only person at that network I mildly respect, seems to have been swept up in this circus. They even cut short coverage of McCain's speech so they could blow the Obama horn some more(which I'm sure Matthews dreams about nightly). I just hope someone there does not faint from all this "Objective" coverage of Barack Hussein and his victory in the Democratic primary. What a joke of a network that has moved so far to the left. What's worse is they all seem to be so proud of that fact, journalistic integrity be damned. Afraid it's only going to get worse leading up to November.

what are you so afraid of

I'm not afriad of anything pal. It's just disappointing when one of our choices to be the next President has a major network in his back-pocket so to speak. They do not even try to hide the fact that Barack Hussein is, in their far-left opinion, is the ONLY choice American's have. Olbermann just called this "The most historic night in American politics" like Barack Hussein has already been elected President. He very well might be, especially with MSNBC, The New York Times and the rest of the "Objective" media leading his campaign. One would hope he could win the Presidency on his own merit and with his policies but he can not. The media will have to build him up and tear down McCain which has already started at MSNBC tonight.

I hate to break it to you mr confused but i was watching Fox and all four guys even that douchebag Fred Barnes gave kind words to Obama. Barns was having a tough time speaking :mj07: Are you mad at them to? They basically said that out of the two speeches tonight McCains was embarrassing. This from Fox. What is it the darky skin that has you up in arms? Does anything ever progressive come out of Alabama? Let it go bro. Its 08 already.

That might be overstating things just a bit by Keith, but i'm not sure why you're getting all fired up about it.

It's not too far off the mark when the first half-black man(full black man to all the,uh,-never mind) lays claim to a partys nomination for president.

Just like it would be if Hillary, as the first woman, became the nominee.

Oh, I don't know...is it that big a deal? I don't know you or your political leaning, but you sound concerned about this. You're watching a cable tv channel...who cares which way they lean? Maybe you are slightly more "right" of the world than you thought. I don't know. Maybe the MSNBC people are slightly geeked-up about being able to finally change their water cooler subject matter to something other than "Hillary is still hanging in there?"

And how bad can it be that the "left" has their own tv voice to off-set the Fox News righties? The indignation meter is smashed off the wall already.

Can we put this right wing/left wing media myth to bed ? The media is slanted one way. Against the American People. Who runs and owns the media ? The biggest lobbyist group, that has everything to gain & everything to gain, when We lose. Scott McClellan said it best. Think about it. Where was the media leading up to this war ? Think about . Where was the voice of the People ? Think about it. There were people out there that knew the truth. Where were the liberal rags ? Where was the opposition ? Think about it. Obviousliy the whisper was not heard. Why wasn't it heeded ? Power and wealth ! Retention of power & wealth, trumps reasons, logic and the well being of the masses everytime.

Amen to the media myth. The "electronic journalists" have abandoned their journalist's responsibility for a buck.

Yes, the Media is left or right when it is in their best interest. Everyone in our economy, from a gardener to General Motors, should be doing what is in their enlightened best interest. And they usually do, 99 times out of a 100. Even Mother Teresa must have recognized that she loved what she was doing when working with lepers. It wasn't all drudgery for her.

Your point about the American People is correct. The corporate media view them as consumers that can be broken down and traded as discrete slices of the demographic pie. There is the soccer-mom slice, the traditional values slice, etc. As pieces of the market, they are expected to consume for "three-score and ten years," and then to die.

The Soviets clung to the idea that "the capitalists will sell the rope by which they will hang themselves." It didn't happen. Even capitalists weren't that guillable, and not as monolithic as the Soviets thought. Maybe it takes a media savvy bunch like this Administration to pull the Iraq stunt once or twice before we're all ennured to it. Folks will eventually realize media management and spin, and stop falling for the flag waving patriotic B.S. passing for a genuine movement.

So true Double2, these guys aren't independent journalists anymore, (Olberman isn't a Journalist)
if you're a Democrat that's just fine, but get both sides of an Issue on FOX news, then the Democrats think the World is about to end.

The study by Sacred Heart University Polling Institute found 45.4 percent of the respondents think journalists and broadcasters are mostly or somewhat liberal. Just 15.7 percent think they are conservative.

44.9 percent view CNN as liberal; 41.9 believe The New York Times leans left; 40.3 for National Public Radio and 38.8 for MSNBC. 48.7 percent said FOX News is mostly or somewhat conservative.

And, as far as which outlet is "most trusted?" FOX News led the way with 27 percent, CNN at 14.6 percent; NBC News at 10.9 percent; ABC at 7 percent; local news 6.9 percent; CBS at 6.8 percent; MSNBC at 4 percent and Public Broadcasting at 3 percent.
