I had the exact same thought.....on Kobe well the CELTS PLAY TEAM DEFENSE SO HELP AND DOUBLES WILL BE READILY AVAILABLE, LOOK FOR POSEY TO PLAY ALOT MORE THIS SERIES IMO....on the other hand if Pierce is in offensive attack mode...lights out, KOBE CANNOT GAURD HIM AND HIS SIZE FOR 4 QUARTERS AND CARRY THE LAKERS ON OFFENSE......Problem being to me MOSTLY is THE LAKERS DONT PLAY DEFENSE AT ALL!!!! So KG should done fine, Perkins(who grew uo in a BIG way last series) could be a factor with his rebounding abilities, I see MATCH UPS ALL OVER THE FLOOR THAT THE LAKERS
COULD have problems with.....Fisher on Rondo(TOO QUICK), GASOL on KG(NO FU(KING WAY-all Gasol does is whine and KG will be TOO MUCH emotionally, look for Gasol to get in foul trouble early on) Odom on Perkins(Perkins is VERY PHYSICAL and thats NOT Odoms style) hey wait they could bring in Luke "let me shoot" Walton but thats wasting a subsitution,lol.......Now if the Lakers pass the ball well and IF THE SHOTS FALL EARLY this could be a very very high scoring series, and I will offer the Lakers can do that....but what this game/series means to KG and Pierce(I wont mention Allen...he could be the icing on the cake if he attacks the rim as he did when his shot wasnt falling) look for the BEST DEFENSIVE EFFORTS from them DONT THINK THE CELTS ARE GONNA BE HAPPY JUST BEING THERE.......and BTW IF DOC PLAYS RONDO...FISHER WILL BE NULL AND VOID......DEFENSE IS HIS SPECIALTY and FISHER ISNT VERY OFFENSIVE OTHER THEN OPEN SHOTS AND THREES.......now I am a CELTS FAN, but that isnt swaying my judgement(much anyway) I just see MATCHUPS and to me THATS WHAT is gonna decide this series.....DOCS BENCH IS WAY DEEPER THEN PHILS!!!!!!
