I assume the part in bold was a good point? I guess it could have been if it was at all true. But it's FALSE ...as in totally inaccurate. So what's the point of that?

No... if u dont remember, i said the article was exactly as sent to me... I didnt put any part of the article in bold.. it was sent to me that way.

And what i thought of as 'good points' dont have anything to do w/ Barack necessarily.. moreso excerpts like this:

Install your candidate in an atmosphere of deception because questioning him on any issue involving Africa or Islam would be seen as 'bigoted racism'; two words too powerful to allow the citizenry to be informed of facts.

What those 'facts' are - I dont know ?? Remember, im not making any accusations here..

I should add I wasnt familiar w/ Rich Carroll b4 reading this article and havent read any since.. im not the most political guy so if u want a drawn-out debate im not interested.. just wanted to hear some thoughts..

Don't sweat it Rawli. My dad listens to right-wing radio and forwards these types of BS emails to me all the time. When you read or listen to someone with an extremely biased viewpoint, it is easy to see their "point" because it is usually written or worded as a sales pitch.

.

I guess it's an "interesting" sentence in and of itself. But it is attached to a series of false statements and biased slander against Obama. So in the the context of the 'article', it's just part of the garbage.

Yes, I would agree that fear, racism, etc should not prevent the citizenry from being informed. Shucks, if enough of us were well informed, then false spam would get laughed out of everyone's inbox before it ever has a chance to spread over the net.

"the bunker"
raw is a very nice guy and a nice addition to the boxing/mma group....

i`m sure he didn`t mean to offend by posting that article...i`ve never heard a political word from the guy since he started posting there....

isn`t it funny that the "mccain`s a traitor" comments garner relatively little indignation while this obvious chain letter gets several of our "moderates all het up....

guess it depends on who`s ox gets gored....especially for those "moderates"...

I'm an independent, but you can call me moderate, liberal, or whatever. I think it is ridiculous to call McCain a traitor, or a songbird....just as I thought it was ridiculous to do the same to Kerry in 2004.

The thing that got my attention in this "article" was how it attempted to point out the similarities between the attack on NYC and the (possible) rise of Barack to the presidency.

You already know my views about the McCain Vietnam slanders. Was that from an email? If so, I'll be right over to unleash my fury.

If you google "Songbird" there is a ton of stuff on this subject. Is it true? I have no idea but when you play dirty like your side does you should be able to suck it up. Like when you constantly have to bring up Obama's pastor or Obama's middle name. If you can't hack it. Get your jacket. I would like nothing better than to just talk about the issues but the sleaze on your side doesn't seem to know how to.

Dare I say it again? Yes, I will. People, what I am about to say is very important and 100% true:

ALL FORWARDED EMAILS ARE BULLSHIT!

Better get used to this. First of many, I'm sure.

We AGREE Smurph--Not only BS for most part but down right embarrasing--and goes for both parties

:mj07:

How many times have you posted the chain email that 'links' Bubba Clinton to like 50 murders?

You are very good at search on here Matt--instead of making an exagerated opinion I would figure you could do search and provide us with the facts on allegation.

Be interesting to see what you come up with.
Never get chain email for most part as have great earthlink spam blocker where sender don't get through without permission.

So now your stuck with time consuming search that I am quite certain will rule out"many times" and not sure you'll find one.

We'll be waiting for your search results :)
