This is probably not running from the base. I don't think there is a large number of people that openly identifies with Bush.

Definitely will make him feel lamer than most ducks historically, though.

You are correct, Seeing is believing, it's harder for people dismiss a politician or they're cronies if you can see it yourself. JMO
