IL 2008 round 5

Got off to a bad start yesterday. Hopefully can get some back today. Here's how the 4 games of IL went. Will up-date tomorrow.

Since 12 of the teams are HFs today, I should find something to play tonight. Still looking at HFs first, Favs second and home dogs third.

Something about this year that strikes me as a little odd. It seems that all you have to do to be the fav is be at home. I'm not sure this was the case in the past.

Yesterday should have been a disaster if you followed my IL trends. Only two home favs won out of eight. That was Tor and Hou. I said yesterday that it seemed that all you had to do to be the fav was be at home. Last night proved my point. I've up-dated game 1 but I feel I need to point out that 8 dogs won last night out of a possible 10. Here's what game 2 looked like so far'

Out of the 4 series where they have played game 2, the team that won game 1 has won the series 6-1.

Game 3. I've up-dated game 2. Only 4 teams were playing game 3 last night. They looked like IL but the game 2s that were played still didn't. Here's game 3.

KC was the only team to sweep while Bos was the only team to lose game 1 and win the series.

There are 7 undecided tonight. SF, TB, and Minn have won their series.

For the first time since I've been doing this,(7 or 8 years), the dogs out performed the favs. But there's one IL stat that I've never seen a loser in and it's the one that will keep you out of a lot of trouble (wish I had paid more attention to it yesterday). The team that wins game 1, wins the series. There were 7 undecided series yesterday. One game was cancelled and the game 1 winners went 5-1. For a total of 11-2. Here's how round 5 went.
