I think the White Sox will have a little payback in store for their cross-town rivals this weekend

Playing:

CWS for series -150

CWS Friday -105

Considering a progression play on the Sox as well - will be on them Saturday a bit bigger if they lose today

May be back with more

Really like that series play. To bad Betjamica has none.

Guess I will have to play a progression.
Good luck!

You have to like the WSox starters over what the Cubs are putting on the bump for every game. If they can win today, I think they sweep. Lou won't be able to destroy Ozzie in a AL park.

Uribe starting. Ramirez wife popped. Thome playing this one as well.

Cubs have a gimpy Edmonds in center and two guys playing out of position in the corners. It's cost them big this game already. Might be a good thing to pay attention to in future games as the injuries are affecting who's playing where on the field. Fuku is playing under 100% as well. They haven't been strong on the road at full strength let alone what they fielded for today's game.

You said you like the w Sox starters over Cubs in every game. Evidently more this proved true, but although RD is 9-0 at Wrigley, and 0-2 road, his era is better on the road 2.50, compared 2.70 at Wrigley, and opposing average is 194 on road compared to 207 at Wrigley. Anyway looks like you made the right play, that's all that counts. Nice going.

take out the previous series which the Cubs swept....

They are 3-6 in IL while the WSox are 9-3. I know much of that is meaningless and depends on who they play but I (without bias lol) am not impressed by what the Cubs have done this year. Now they are in some distress without Big Z, Alphonso, Reed Johnson, and Fuku not 100%. It's going to show more in AL games, in an AL park. The WSox are missing Konerko. Not necessarily a bad thing right now as Swish can play 1st just as well IMO and his bat has woke up over the last two weeks. The WSox couldn't have played the last series any worse. Ozzie is flat out a horrible on field and line up mgr. At full strength, the Cubs most likely crush the WSox.

Today, Contreras is very very hitable. The Cubs (now 3) home runs are not impressive vs Jose with a big lead and not good control.

We'll see if the rain lets them get the next two in. ESPN Sunday Night Baseball is the same as last week.
